I’m a nanny and the parents are looking to go away within the next 6 months. They have asked me to do a 4 night stay looking after their 3 children.
How much would you charge for an overnight stay?

That’s a tricky one.
How about halving your hourly rate between 10 & 6 as the kids will be asleep? Rest of the time your normal hourly rate.

Sort of a halfway point?

Thats a good idea, I was swaying towards a set night rate of 50£ From 8-8 Is that asking too much?

I chargw per hour to 10pm then £40 flat fee to cover until the kids wake up for the day.

Our nanny charges her normal rate until the time the DCs are normally asleep then half the rate until the time they're normally up.

So my current normal working hours are 830-630

if its on a nornal working day I charge per hour from 630-10 then £40 then oer hoir from (eg) 630-830am

It's a very good deal for us as neither DC sleeps through....

Normal rate until children go to sleep and then sixty for overnight.
Make sure you sort it before you do it one employer gave me an extra twenty pounds.
