Meglet - Fools Gold is actually my "corner stone" track...I think I might end up having it on repeat and YES to Perfect...I love that track SO much.

Am off to listen to the other suggestions...thanks

I don't think this is your style but I am feeling soppy and so will suggest:

Greatest Day : Take That

What a Difference A Day Makes : Various but Jamie Callum has covered recently

What a Wonderful World : Louis Armstrong

I Love You Baby (or is it Too Good To Be True): Frankie Valli

Having said that, DS was actually born to Lemon Jelly and Air Moon Safari played back to back as I found prominent lyrics and beats a bit distracting and preferred a more chill-out style soundtrack.

tbh - you may not give a flying fiddle what music is on at the time. I think planning the birth is nice, and fun (and gives you something to think of during the pg!), but tbh I guess it rarely turns out as you plan. I brough cd's in with me, but I don't think I used them (really can't remember!)

mondaymonday - I've had two labours already . I'm prob going to have to head to hosp relatively early so I can get ABs for Group B Strep, and I think the music might make it all a bit more homely for me.

fair enough! Hope it goes well for you. I actually had a really relaxing time for most of the day after an epidural, and spent much time listening to radio and reading

Loving You (is easy cos you're beautiful) : not sure who did this originally, google's first choice is Minnie Ripperton who I've never heard of.

I am rubbish at pub quizzes btw.

Maybe Thank You : Dido but only for the chorus really

Ditto Survivor : Destiny's Child if it's hard going, but really absolutely only the chorus here!
