Yes! And I still would with Terry Hall...

So weird seeing people permanently young in your imagination all, um, old...

And I'm fairly sure I saw them as a kid at one of the Rock Against Racism festivals. I think they were on with Black Uhuru and The Clash! Or maybe I dreamed that bit.

lupusina me too. I am pleasantly surprised that his voice still sounds very young though, he still has that sound, even at 50.

They are very Special.
Where's Jerry Dammers though?

Terry is looking a little puzzled though don't you think? He has a big furrowed frown...

There was a Big Row with Jerry Dammers. It was all in the Guardian... Still wonderful though. My friend lived in Coventry then, and we'd walk through the terrible concrete shopping centre singing Ghost Town.

I am now - thanks!

Their middle-aged-ness is upsetting me though. How dare they get old?

slight hi-jack (but I always think of him when I hear The Specials) - does anyone know what has happened to Mark Lamarr? He has disappeared off the face of the earth as far as I can see.
