I love Terry too I do. But I love The Colourfield and his poofy solo stuff more than The Specials. Sad that as he made the music he really wanted to most people stopped listening. He doesn't seem bothered these days.

Castles In the Air

Ultra Modern Nursery Rhyme

Forever J

Well Just Jules, I think we partly share the same music taste

I believe he's involved with the Guilty Pleasures people and can occasionally be found DJ-ing at their things these days.

While I've got a very soft spot for the grim realism of Friday Night, Saturday Morning; I'm also a bit of a sucker for the unfashionable middle-to-late Hall too. 'Missing' is a great song - crikey what can't you find on YouTube these days?

I do actually like that too! I remember liking their cover of Alone Again Or as well. Not a big fan of The Damned generally. Although....

I served him in a bookshop once. He had a suede jacket on.

I resisted the temptation to say 'Read Norman Mailer. Or get a new tailor' to him. I like Lloyd but he seems a bit of a plank somehow next to the true pop greats.
