Be it your favourite songs from childhood, your first love, your wedding dance, a song played at a funeral of a loved one, first school disco, etc. I'm sure we all have these. When you hear them in a shop, on the radio, in a club, at a party , they always make you smile/ laugh / cry /dance.Mine are -Heart - Alone My dad, he always played this in the car. I feigned embarrassment if he was giving friends a lift but loved it.No Doubt - Don't SpeakMy first love, he always told me I looked like Gwen Stefani, and it made me swoon. Silly little girl. Leonard Cohen - Dance Me to the End of LoveMy Grandfathers funeral. Makes me laugh, dance and cry all at once. It really summed them up as a couple. Bless them both.
The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics. It reminds me of the difficult relationship I had with my father as a child and continue to do. I cry every time.
Massive Attack, Teardrop.
this one played at my friends funeral after she died of leukaemia at the age of 14 Everyone started crying at the first line cos thats exactly what she did
