Glastonbury 2014

Hi folks,

So anyone getting revved up for Glastonbury (either watching all coverage or actually attending) ? Not my fave headliners this year, but it's always the smaller stages that turn out the surprising and memorable sets. Will look forwards to hearing who you think rocks!!!

Watching Isle of Wight highlights tonight to get me in the festive mood!!!

Ohh good, just like myself so, I nearly feel like setting up a tent in the living room just to feel included in the atmosphere!

Was just looking at the line up again, quiet looking forward to Metalicia and the john peel stage has a few good uns!

Well not long now to the first set of highlights looking forward to settling down tomorrow eve for a good couple of hours of hopefully good music, wonder what the weathers like???

I'm out tomorrow, so will have to wait until Saturday . They said on the radio this morning that rain is expected, so nothing new there then .

Great start with Elbow......but then Lilly Allen, not a fan of her music to be honest....bring on Dolly :-)

Watching Arcade Fire which is setting me up nicely as seeing them at Hyde Park on Thursday. Although Will Butler is a total head-case and really quite irritating.

Recorded Elbow whilst I was out and just caught up, really good start. Now loving Arcade Fire, very jealous that you'll be seeing them at Hyde Park Rollergirl1 :)

Anyone other than me old enough to remember when there were still single day tickets to Glastonbury, and the wrapper of a Terry's Chocolate Orange Bar looped around one's wrist was EXACTLY the right size and colour (of a Saturday Day Pass) to fool the somewhat amateur security staff that were employed way-back-when-in-the-day?

Yep I think he was on something. There were glimpses in the eyes of the others that suggested they weren't entirely sure what he was going to do next. Either that or wildly attention seeking.

I went when it was still plausible to get in through a hole in the fence. And indeed two of our party did, with no trouble. Ah, them were t'days.
