Anyone else find THE VOICE rules annoying?

My fave artists from The Voice have both been runners up (Bo Bruce, Leah Mcfall). I have never watched the blind auditions before, but my main incidents of puzzlement are 1. How the flip twins/ duos can enter and 2. How can people who have previously had a hit record enter? I prefer it to the atrocities Simon Cowell offers, but think it has gone off a bit: time for sob stories etc. What do others think?
