I'm new to this board. No diagnosis, haven't even got my courage up yet to go to my gp to ask for assessment, but I think I may be Asperger's. My DS is diagnosed ASC and my second child on waiting list for assessment.
Can anyone point me towards counselling or support which is specifically for autistic adults please?
I need counselling support to help me as I'm very overloaded and need help but I don't want to return to therapy unless it's with someone who knows specifically about living as an autistic person in a NT world. I've done 20 odd years of therapy which was very helpful in lots of ways but I just always ended up feeling more broken or "too much" because ultimately whatever I tried never made me think more like everyone else.
