DS1 is currently being assessed for ASD (diagnosis almost certain) and the process has made me realise that I am almost certainly also on the spectrum; albeit maybe not quite as far along. I've read Laura James' book and John Robison's first memoir (the other two are on my shelf) and before I embark on a massive Amazon spending spree I was hoping people could suggest books they have found helpful. I'm thinking in particular of books written by people, preferably women, who themselves are on the spectrum. There do seem to be quite a lot out there and none of them are exactly inexpensive so I'd like to chose wisely. Thanks in advance.
