Tell us about school meals (or why your child doesn't have them) and you could win a £250 voucher for the store of your choice

The School Food Trust would like to know about the school meals in your child's school (or why you choose to give your child a packed lunch instead). They're also interested in your views of the school meals you had when you were a child. The survey is open to all mums in the UK with at least one child at school. Everyone who takes part will be in with a chance of winning a £250 voucher for a store of their choice.

Here's the survey again in case you missed the last link grin

Sorry Pinklips, but this survey has to really focus on the UK as it's about UK school food. We do try with you guys....

Done but thinking about my school dinners of stew, dumplings and loads of mash has made me ravenous grin

I had to use "Other" on two bits - the reason dd doesn't have school meals is because "The dinner ladies put too much on my plate, and then when I bring my plate to the bin they make me go back and eat it all." And, what would encourage her to have school meals instead of packed lunch? - Well, to be left in peace to eat as much or as little as she likes, without comment or force feeding etc!!

Is it just my dd who has this experience? She has a tiny appetite at lunchtime, I put very little in her packed lunch and she still comes home with leftovers... That's just the way she is...
