Can I ask how you use the information? Obviously some of it is for the purposes of enticing advertisers to the site but it would actually be very interesting as a user to see summaries of the data, at least on some of the basic questions, is that possible? Apologies if you publish this information already and I've missed it.

There are often comments on threads about the mumsnet demographic and it would be really interesting to know the reality in terms of overall proportions in terms of the basic stuff like age, number of children, marital status, level of income, level of education, sectors of professions etc.

Question 3 makes no sense. Are you asking for my sex or my gender because these are mixed up in this question? If it's sex then I answer "female". If it's gender then I answer "none"

Answer however you want to answer!!
MN I suspect you are running the risk of ending up with some odd data - if a large percentage of GC MNers don't answer the survey 7/8 of the options at question 3 are effectively "Not Female" and it's not clear if the question is about sex or gender so you could potentially end up with lots of gender-free women choosing something other than "Female" and your results showing you that MN is mainly frequented by non-women (which I suspect is not the reality).

I tried. Got to #12 before it started acting up and jumping to choose different options to my initial answer when I tried to scroll to "next". I gave up after it had happened three times. Don't have the patience or inclination to keep going back to correct answers.
