UK MNer who owns a cat or a dog? Take this survey

We are currently doing some work with a pet insurance company and they’d really like your feedback on their new TV advert launching in December. This survey has a very tight turnaround and will be closing at 9am on 26/10/18.

This survey is open to all UK MNers who own a cat or a dog.

You will be asked about 3 different elements of the advert: the script, the story board, and the characters.

The contents of the advert are confidential and in order to view the advert contents, you will be asked at the beginning of the survey to confirm you understand this.

To complete this survey, please click here.

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw where 3 MNers will win a £100 voucher each.

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw.

I've completed it but towards the end it asks whether you have insurance for either a dog or a cat. No box for both.

Hi @Jakethecob

Thank you for completing the survey. Apologies for that mistake Blush I have now amended the questionnaire.

Is it for animal friends? Because they're a con.

There are Facebook groups because of what this company does.

Just clicked on it and saw its for animal friends.

I won't be taking part in this survey. Mumsnet should stick with reputable brands or any other insurer on the planet than this scam company.

Glitchy. Couldn’t finish it. Took me back to the start page.

I won’t do it either because it is animal friend.

It was far too long and fussy - it's just an advert!

What's the issue with Animal Friends? I've never heard of them.

Can I ask about animal friends? We've just renewed our insurance with them

Report
SPR1107 · 24/10/2018 14:20

Not renewed sorry. I mean just insured our pet with them

As a vet, animal friends are the most difficult insurance company to deal with and to get them to agree cover.

They are notorious for not paying out. They left me with thousands of pounds worth of debt.

Avoid them at all costs and swap insurers.

They're awful.

Thanks for the warnings, definitely one to avoid.

I'm glad I wasn't kind about their advertising ideas now Grin

Were they E&L?

Ratbagcatbag · 24/10/2018 19:43

Are they really that bad? I’ve just got a cat. Was going to look at insuring with them!

Report
Ratbagcatbag · 24/10/2018 20:20

Wow. I’ve just googled. They get a serious hammering. I don’t think I’ve seen so many negative comments about a company in a long tine.

Most vet won’t recommend it

I was thinking about using them. Looking at trust pilot it seemed OK and I like the fact they donate to charities. Are they really worse than other pet insurance companies?

Yep
