We’d like to find out a bit more about Mumsnet users’ experiences of having more than one child, and in particular what it’s like to welcome a new addition to your family when you already have two or more children, and what it’s like to have a larger-than-average family.

This survey is open to all Mumsnet users anywhere who have two or more children, of any ages.

All who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw where one respondent will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks and good luck!

The requirement to give your exact age, rather than a bracket, felt too intrusive for me and there was no prefer not to say option, so I got to the end and then abandoned it. I didn't realise I would have to do that until the end.

Don't think any advice I could give would be applicable to them because their situation is totally different, they have the money and the help but also the issues of privacy that I don't have

Done! Would be a bit more inclusive to talk about the arrival of multiples rather than birth, as this would make it clear that this is also open to adoptive parents of sibling groups.

Done, although my contribution feels largely irrelevant as I have a large age gap (16, 5, and 2), I'm a single parent, and my middle one has additional needs. Taking the above in to account, it was difficult to answer with any accuracy. It was just as expensive going from none to one, as one to two because of the age gap - nothing has been saved.
I think this questionnaire is more suited for the traditional family rather than the modern household make up.

How can the transition from 0 to 1 child be 'easiest for baby's sibling(s)'? Is this a poorly thought-through survey or an i misinterpreting the questions?
