Child under 5? Please complete a survey for MNHQ - £50 to be won NOW CLOSED

We at MNHQ want to find out more about what mothers think about breastfeeding and formula feeding, about their experiences of getting breastfeeding started (or not), about what support they did (or did not) receive, about what worked well for them, and about where they could have done with more help.

This survey isn’t about finding out whether anyone could have ‘tried harder’; we think parents are best placed to decide what sort of infant feeding works best for their families. We want to know whether mothers are getting the right support at the right time, find out what kind of support might make a difference, and get more insight into why - according to Public Health England - breastfeeding rates drop so dramatically within six weeks of birth.

This survey is fairly long - it will probably take 10-15 minutes to complete it - so please grab a cuppa.

This survey is open to all mothers in the UK with at least one child under the age of 5. If you have more than one child under five, please answer with your oldest child in mind, or for the child with whom you had the most difficult feeding experience (if applicable).

Add your details at the end and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £50 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Here's the link www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5Z8PY8D

Thanks
MNHQ

There's a problem with Q17 - you can't answer "I used this" to more than one item.

(And when you finish it goes back to the start)

drspouse - thanks - Q17 fixed and it should go to the insight page on completion - if it flicked back up you might have missed Q22. Flowers

Q2 doesn't work, I can't select the same options for each statement.

drspouse · 28/06/2017 14:05

I definitely answered no 22 and it definitely just reloaded the whole page (without my answers and without any warning).

Yes, Q2 is now showing the same problem - I think I just missed that problem last time.

The routing of this survey is terrible! You need to pull it and re do it, you won't get decent info with this .

The survey doesn't work, you can't select the same option for more than one statement in the sane question (this applies to all the multi choice questions).

The child I am answering the survey for is neither my oldest child nor my most difficult bf experience -they are the only child within the age range specified. The options do not seem to allow for 4th child, but the only one aged under 5yrs. Does that mean you do not want me to fill this in?

1bighappyfamily · 06/07/2017 13:47

My most difficult experience is my oldest child but that's not my under five, she is five.

What should I answer!?

Also, if you are answering about your first child, then the likelihood of having BF before is fairly slim...Confused

Not great survey design guys...

I'm feeling optimistic in spite of the above. I'll give it a go.

Done. I read it as please answer for the child you had the most difficulty with, or your eldest, even if the child is no longfer under 5.

Had a bloody nightmare with my first so I just over shared all the details. Enjoy the read MNHQ Wink
