Here at MNHQ, we'd love to know how you feel about gaming - this survey is open to all UK MNers with at least 1 child, who have at least one gaming console or device in the household - this includes handheld ones but excludes tablets.

Everyone who fills in the survey and their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher, for the store of their choice (from a list).

Click here to complete the survey.

Thanks and good luck!

Ooh, are you teaming up with Nintendo? Any chance of a test of the Switch?

Wow. Just realised how much of a game habit I really have. I love them.

Done - but question 15 asking if games were too violent for young teens is a bizarre question as it's going to get some really misleading answers.

There are a lot of incredibly violent games out there - which my young children never get near. Don't care if their friends play CoD or whatever, they're not going to. However, the games that they do play tend to be fun, are often educational or good for developing problem solving skills, hand/eye co-ordination and manual dexterity and so on. The one thing that they have in common is that they're not violent, so going by the games that they do play - games aren't violent. There just didn't seem to be a way to distinguish between the two very different types of gaming within the survey itself - one of which I have no problem with, the other of which I have a massive problem with and is a big no no.
