Ahead of the first MN Bookfest (a one-day family festival of literature, language and ideas in London on 25 June) we'd love to hear all about your views on books.

This survey is open to all Mumsnetters who live in the UK. Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £100 National Book Tokens voucher.

Here's the link: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/N667SPD

Thanks

I've read most (Eng Lit graduate) but the two Russians on the list are my shameful never-read books and now I am going to read one!

@quietbatperson

There is no apostrophe in Finnegans Wake BTW. It was done deliberately by James Joyce too SadAngry

Please can you change it? Please?

Why does the survey ask if I'm male or female when you've already said it's only for female MNers?

Done. I'm never ashamed of my book choices. I read what I like and I don't care if it's not a 'classic'

It's my escape from the world.

And Bill Bryson should be on the list of 'must haves'.

Question 8 is a bit odd. Why have you put Jack Kerouac in with the embarrassing drivel? I was about to click on 'Wouldn't touch any with a bargepole' when I spotted that!

Done. I can't ever imagine pretending to have read something I haven't or hiding what I'm reading!

Report
maamalady · 06/05/2016 18:24

Done. Not sure about books I feel I should have read - there are none. However there are several on the list I'd like to read, but haven't.
