Fond memories of arguing parents and my Father dumping my Mother by the side of a road after losing it finally with her left seat driving and general nagging. He drove off with us all begging him to turn round and collect her. He wouldn't. She turned up at the camp site hours later furious and cold. confused

Holidays are my favourite thing! This was a lovely survey that has really got me thinking of the good old days! I think I need to search out the old photo albums at the weekend and have a trip down memory lane!

Done. We've stayed at Novotel hotels quite a few times with the dds and recommend them for a UK city break.

Done. smile

Made me hope my dc remember seeing more of their dad than I saw of mine. Summer holidays were the only quality time I remember really.

Um- there's not really anywhere to point out that you haven't had a family holiday for ... ooh... at least 5 years!

Done. I have always loved a 'staycation'. What's not to love when you gave a young family? No airport hassle, just jump in you car with as much luggage as you want and off you go! Yes, the weather can be a bit hit and miss, but if you choose your holiday spot carefully, there will always be wet day choices. The kids always think a hotel is a big treat anyway, wherever we go :-)
