Hello. I am relatively new to posting after being a lurker for a few years. Would like to be more involved in threads but don’t want to commit any faux pas - could someone please tell me what drip feeding is?

It's when you withhold pertinent information from your initial post. Basically, try to involve everything relevant in the first post rather than adding something in later that will alter people's opinions.

Writing a long post and asking for opinions/advice, but leaving out information which is either critical or somewhat important to the original post. Then dropping it in later.

Untangling a complex story/history very slowly. Not all relevant info is in the opening post, important details are slowly dripped into the conversation over several posts.
