We have just purchased a phone for ds1 who is 10.I am shocked at vodafone having a 'naughty'section onit's ohone. It can be blocked for under 18's which I feel is rather ambiguous. If people want to sign up for porn on their mobile I do not see why it cannot be an add on not put there as a matter of course. So vodafone trying to be 'caring' is hilarious and utter utter bollocks/

mustrunmore Mon 07-Sep-09 19:55:10

Rwally? shock How does that work then? Surely you have to down load stuff/ It doesnt hold that much on the phone memory I assume? <not very technically minded>

Doobydoo Mon 07-Sep-09 20:06:18

It is on there and can be used umless you go to their website to block it.But it is still available for under 18's!
We emailed vodafone.tbh I am shocked it is on there as a matter of course instead of as an add on.

mustrunmore Mon 07-Sep-09 20:41:33

I'm really suprised by that shock

pucca Mon 07-Sep-09 20:44:34

I'm up for this - is it first come first served, or do we need to prove how witty we are first?

Saucepanman Mon 07-Sep-09 22:51:45

Have signed up smile

Doobydoo Tue 08-Sep-09 08:50:16

I know it can be blocked, just think it odd that it is even on there as an option.
