  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

So much more convenient.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

The convenience. No having to phone the doctor's prescription line, finding somewhere to park, queuing in the pharmacy surrounded by coughing and spluttering! Much better for me.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

I will, and even more so in the current Covid-y times.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I used to have batch prescriptions, so I'd have to remember to telephone the pharmacy to ask them to prepare the prescription and pick it up the next day, which was a trip out of my way.
  1. What was the best thing about using Echo? Now I am reminded to order my prescription and it comes through my letterbox. No need to wait in.
  2. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Yes I will as it makes life much easier.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I’d tried delivery services before but they were subject to long delays when requesting medicine and were a hassle to set up. I ask family members to pick stuff up but they weren’t always free especially when I had a sudden change in my medication that needed collecting.
This has been so much better, the doctors have sent new medication easily and it only took a few minutes to set up. I can request medication whenever it suits me and I start to run low.
  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

The easy set up with the GP.
  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Definitely, it’s a much more reliable way to manage my prescriptions.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I used an App suggested by the surgery to order prescriptions. You have to go onto the app and order your prescription in enough time, to give the surgery and pharmacy time to prepare it. Echo is much better, because it allows you to tell them exactly when your medication will run out, and it will prompt you to re-order at the right time instead of having to remember and work out how many days it will take to get your medication.
  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

It is very simple to set up and use - it only took a few minutes.
  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Definitely. It is really useful to get a prompt to order a prescription and will hopefully prevent any last minute scrambles to get medicine!

It’s a bit better as I get it delivered to me instead of chasing around looking for which pharmacy stocks what I need

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

I can keep it on my phone, and it reminds me when I need some more.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why? Yes, I’ve been using it for almost a year already anyway. As it’s a more convenient way to get my prescriptions.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I used to have to contact my surgery through email and then phone my pharmacy to see if it was ready and then go pick up my prescription.
With Echo, I contact the surgery and then Echo tells me that my prescription was accepted and then I get it sent to my door which is so much more convenient.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

It was so easy and I get a reminder to order my prescription which is so convenient as usually I only remember when I'm running really low.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why

Yes I will as its made things simpler and more convenient for me personally and I love the reminders

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

It is soooo much easier. I don't have to call the doctors or use my doctor's terrible app to order. And then go to the pharmacy in which my local one, the staff are quite rude and very inefficient.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

How quick my medication arrived. Ordered and 2 days later it was at my door.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Yes! Because it's so easy and simple to use.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I don't have to set a reminder in my phone for a week ahead, wait in a phone queue to get through to my prescription ordering service and then queue and wait at the pharmacy.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

Ease and convenience.
  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Yes, as a working mum it is a job off my never ending to do list!

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

I don’t know, as I didn’t get to use it!

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

I would love to, but only if my GP Surgery signed up.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

It's much easier- no faffing around writing a letter to my drs which then has to be hand delivered. Then wait an unspecified number of days before calling the pharmacy to see if it's ready and then queuing to collect.
  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

Really simple to use. Medications arrived quicker than expected.
  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Yes definitely.

Only things I would like added are:
  • the opportunity to add a note to the pharmacist/go surgery. For example, I wanted to remind my GP to add the specific branding to my prescription.
  • it would also be useful if deliveries could be postponed etc, on one occasion we were going to be away for the weekend and wanted to ensure that the medication didn't arrived while we were away. It was really easy to cancel the request and get a code to hand in at the pharmacy though so that was a good alternative.

I thought echo is such a good convenient thing to have but they took over my prescription a month early so it left me with little medication to last but easily sorted it out and they sending my new medication in next day or so , hopefully it’s a one off mistake

I find it much easier. No hassle. Previously I had to request my prescription and than wait for a long queue to collect my medicines.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

Very easy to use this service. The best thing is that they keep you informed, when medicines are running low, when to order and when they delivered.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

I would definitely carry on using this service. Infact I already used this service for second month as well. No hassle and medicines delivered to your doorstep.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo? Not having to queue up for it at our local pharmacy which could take an hour. Customer service when I finally got hold of them was good too.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

Previously I had to drop off my repeat prescription and return 3 days later to collect it. This could be difficult fitting it in around work and taking children to clubs etc. Having it posted to me was much easier and meant I had done it without running out of my prescription.

  1. What was the best thing about using Echo?

Having the prescription delivered and not having to fit in collecting it.
  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

I like echo for my repeat prescription, makes things much easier. What I did not like was that it said all my electronic prescriptions will go to them. My doctors use electronic prescriptions and so if I went for something else and wanted the prescription immediately, this not is not possible as I'd have to wait for echo to deliver.

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?
I previously managed my prescriptions by ordering them through my surgery’s website and collecting it from my local boots. I won’t be doing this anymore because I always had to find the time to collect my medication and I’d be panicking about running out.

    2. What was the best thing about using Echo?
How easy it was! It’s so easy and clear to follow, and I love how I get reminded in plenty of time to re-order my prescription. I like not having to leave the house to get my medication, especially with coronavirus.

    3. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?
Definitely, it’s so much more convenient for me.

Tablets were on time, the last 3 times I've been to get my tablets they haven't been in so it was lovely to have them a week before running out.

  1. Will you continue using Echo or not, and why?

Yes I will, its easy, its safe, they update you brilliantly. My husbands nose spray came and they let me know they had had a slight problem with mine but that they would be sending it the next day. So pleased how easy and convenient it is.

  1. Compared to the previous way I managed your prescriptions Echo is great.Rather than queuing for ages of trying to find a convenient time to collect a prescription my medicines were delivered to my door at the click of a button.

  1. The best thing about using Echo was the fact that there wasn't a hefty cost associated with it.

  1. I will continue using Echo because it really was simple and convenient to use. In the wake of covid I felt so much safer not having to pop into a pharmacy and join a lengthy queue so I would certainly continue using echo!

  1. How does using Echo compare to the previous way you managed your prescriptions?

I used to request medication on the surgery app and then find the time to go and collect it a week later from the chemist. I had to go out of my way to drive there and also find time in my working day or I had to go during the weekend if I was unable to finish work early.
