  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the app, very easy.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

Wash a king size feather and down winter duvet.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

Extremely easy! Could even opt for same day collection!
The duvet was returned to me fresh and clean just 24 hours later, it wasn't due for another day but the driver said he was passing so he chanced it. What wonderful service.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Absolutely!

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Nothing! Although I have a dry cleaners bet close to me, so I think it would need to be a tad cheaper for me to use it for everyday dry cleaning. But for bulky stuff it's worth it.

I had a couple of coats and a school blazer dry cleaned

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

Really easy to use

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes. I absolutely loved this service! We are always really busy and find it difficult find the time to sort out dry cleaning. It got to choose the time the items were picked up and dropped back off and it fits our lifestyle so well

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Nothing at all- it was so good and we plan to use it again soon to get out duvets laundered without the usual hassle!

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

Easy
  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes- although with a caveat. The pillows came back quite damp so I had to air dry them which is wasn't expecting. If I had left them in their packaging (for storage say) then they would have gone mouldy.

Overall i was pleased with the ease and that they were very communicative when they wanted to pick up early and drop off earlier than expected,

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the website. It’s easy to navigate and the pricing is clear.
  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)? A full superking bed set for washing and pressing; a silk dressing gown for same
  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult? It was easy to use the website, I haven’t used the app yet
  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not? I usually use a different provider for laundry service and have a good relationship with their delivery drivers, plus I like their app. So I would be more inclined to recommend them that Laundrapp on that basis, however I did think Laundrapp’s quality of service was good.
  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all? When I placed my order they could only pick up and drop off between 10 and 11pm. This wasn’t hugely convenient, and I would prefer more options for the drop off and pick up, however this may be because of where I live and/or the current situation re Covid.

Via the app, it was very simple to use.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

I ordered a dry cleaning for a suit and wash, tumble dry & fold.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

Easy to use.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I would - having someone collect and drop off the dry cleaning is brilliant, it's something we never seen to have time to do.

The wash, tumble dry & fold was also a revelation. They allow up to 8kg, which is loads of washing, probably two loads worth. I put in a mixture of darks, whites and colours - they separate for you. I would consider using again after a holiday, illness or busy time where laundry has built up.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Nothing - it was great. They let you know when collection & drop off are happening very clearly, which is always a worry with things like this. Brilliant service.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

I used the app to order. While it was extremely easy, I didn't find the layout very intuitive. For example - the categories were tops, laundry, bedding etc. So it took a while to figure out what I needed to do (were dresses laundry, or dresses? Are they getting dry cleaned etc)

I found it really annoying that it let me put in my card details and proceed, THEN sent me a confirmation code, so my card got rejected, and I had to go to my messages to get the code before I could continue. If they'd warned me they'd be sending a code and I wouldn't be able to pay without it, I would have waited.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

I had two king size duvets cleaned

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was easy to use

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

No - it was quite expensive for some of the services and it was unclear about what you would get. They didn't have enough options for laundry for me - for example, types of washing powder, conditioner etc. There was no ironing service either.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

More laundry options. I don't like using non-bio washing powder and wasn't given the option to use anything else

How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the app, it was extremely easy. The app is well designed and I received lots of reminders and text messages about collection and delivery.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

I had a cashmere tunic dry cleaned and a king size duvet washed.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was extremely easy, clear app, clear menu, polite drivers who arrived on time.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I definitely would for washing items such as duvets and cushions, and for dry cleaning.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

I think it lacks more options such as ironing. I don't really need the laundry service, but would have liked more ironing options for shirts and similar items.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)? Ordered a dress and blazer to be dry cleaned and two feather pillows to be washed. Dry cleaning was fine, pillows were returned to me unwashed. Handwritten note on them said they were ‘unprocessed’. Hadn’t had a warning about it and when I queried it via email there was an excuse about them having to change their process to clean them which basically made no sense...they did offer me a voucher to refund the unspent amount from the original voucher order though.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not? I would, the price was cheaper than the dry cleaner I usually use and was very convenient (although still a bit fed up about my unwashed pillows)

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not? Absolutely! They did an amazing job and got rid of stains that I have never been able to remove. In addition, drivers are courteous and on time and there is a very quick turn around. It is far easier than taking clothes to the local dry cleaners and they do a far superior job. there also is a loyalty program which I will be taking advantage of.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process? I placed my order via the app. Turns out I've used this before well when it was ZipJet but guess that got taken over by LaundrApp.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)? I ordered dry-cleaning of 2 winter coats picked up on a Wednesday and returned on a Saturday.

The app was easy to use though I must add at first glance it seemed it was suggesting the first available collection slot but this wasn't the case so I amended it to the earliest and at a suitable time too. Thanks for the chance to test this service Smile

How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the app. Overall very straightforward and the reminders and level of detail on the collection with tracking etc was great. However there were some things I would have liked to order that I could not find - especially ironing bundled with a wash rather than a dry clean for a couple of outfits (not tops). I’m not sure if this is because the service is not available or it’s hard to find in the app.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

Duvet wash and 3 hung t-shirts. If I could have found it, I would have ordered wash and iron for a play suit and baby dress in place of the t-shirts.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

Very easy except for the issue of finding services listed above. The collection in particular was great, the driver was really professional and warm. The items came back on time and clean.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes I would for ease and because of the driver.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Greater range of services (either offered or listed) with a particular emphasis on ironing. Laundry I can do quite easily myself but I struggle to find time for ironing or to drop off dry cleaning so that is where I would use laundrapp in future. Though the duvet wash was fab too as it was great to have such a bulky item collected and washed.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the app - it was easy to use, once you’d worked out what fitted under which category. Once I’d placed my order I did log back in to the app and was confused my order didn’t show under ‘upcoming’ but instead at the bottom of the screen, which could have been mistaken for the next available slot.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

One set of bedding and one bag of clothes washed, tumble dry and fold.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was really easy - there was a good range of time slots available and both my delivery and collection driver turned up right at the start of the time slot so I wasn’t waiting around. It was a quick pick up and returned 2 days later.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes - particularly during a very busy time e.g after a big holiday or when they’ve just had a baby, as it definitely makes life easier.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

I thought it was very expensive for what you got - if it included ironing it might seem better value. It would be good to offer ironing as a service, as it would feel more complete (rather than your washing being returned but you still having the job of ironing to do).

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

I placed my order via the app. I had a few issues with it crashing to start with so I ended up deleting it and re-installing it, twice, before I placed the order. Maybe it was my phone though? Once it started working I found it very user-friendly and easy to use and navigate. Check out was simple too. Aside from the initial crashing issues it’s a really good app.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

I had a suit and a coat dry cleaned. Both perfect.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

A very easy service to use. I really liked the live collection and delivery notifications - just like ubereats. The same person collected and delivered! He was lovely. Process very straightforward.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Absolutely, I would definitely recommend it and I’ll use it again. I love that you have a one-hour time slot too. I have recently had a baby and I can see how convenient this would be - I previously had no issues dropping or collecting dry cleaning but I’m now so much more time constrained - this is a great service for new mums.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Nothing springs to mind. Really excellent.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

I placed my order via the app. It took a little bit of getting used to, as I wanted to find out what all the various options were and I was not certain if I was making the right choices. but in retrospect, I can see that it is fairly simple and idiot-proof and you get an opportunity to double check everything. It worked flawlessly on my phone and, subsequently, the notifications and all worked fine.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

One dry cleaning of a two piece male suit.
One bag of 8kg washing at 30 degrees, tumble dried. Returned folded.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was really easy. So easy that I think it could be too attract8ie to use. I was really nervous about getting the right quantity of washing (but now I know what amount it is). I was nervous about stuff going missing or not being in for the delivery. But nothing went missing and the delivery notifications are really precise and useful. The service itself was great - really well cleaned and beautifully presented.
We have no washing machine right now and have been using the local laundrette, which is OJK. But for an extra few pounds this takes away a whole headache or dragging it there, bringing it back, hanging it up, finding the coins etc etc.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend it in a heartbeat. It is a little pricey - but you pay for the convenience and the time saving. I liked the fact that it is so simple - you don't have masses of options, you don't have to sign up tp a whole lot of conditions. You simply hang over a bag and it comes back.
I was a little surprised about how long mine took - am in Central London and assume it has been very busy. It took 3 days and there was no option to choose anything but a very early morning return timeslot. But that is a minor quibble and presumably you get used to the kinds of rhythm of it.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

Would love it to be cheaper - but that won't happen.
I wanted more on different fabrics. Really wanted to put my fake fur bedding in, but was not sure it would be accepted. They don't fdo fur, but there was no note on fake fur. I could not see a way of getting in contact to ask - though perhaps if I had looked further I would have found it.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Easy to make the initial order, but troubleshooting and sorting out issues was more difficult.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

x2 king size duvets washed and laundered (I paid extra for this)

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was initially easy to book in - but the collection and delivery itself was a massive faff.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

No, see below…

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

I didn't have a very positive experience with Laundrapp overall. They were 30 minutes late collecting my items and 20 minutes late returning them - each time there was no contact or explanation, and the 'chat feature' for help was closed. I did leave a message and received a blank email back in return.

They had text me asking if they could collect at 7.30, instead of our agreed time, which I agreed to - but showed up after 8am.

The person collecting didn't observe social distancing or wear any PPE. They also didn't know what they were collecting (they thought they were collecting 8kg of mixed laundry, not x2 duvets) and didn't know the services well enough for us to explain what we'd actually ordered and paid for. Had to open up my app and show them (this sounds easy, but in reality, because they were 30 minutes late I was knee-deep in naked toddler, trying to get us ready to leave the house. My husband had answered the door thinking this would be an easy collection, so didn't have the details of what I had booked and paid for).

There wasn't any apology or acknowledgment of them being late (when I say late, I mean later than the agreed 1 hour delivery slot time).

I'd use laundrapp over an ordinary laundrette because of the collection and drop off service, but because this was so faffy there was no point in bothering.

  • How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

Via the app. The first time I tried, I thought it had gone through but it hadn’t. The second time was successful. The app was well laid-out and easy to use.

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

1 x suit dry cleaned
1 x bedspread washed, dried and folded

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was okay. They were late with both pick up and drop off, but only by about 20mins, and this wasn’t a problem as I’m currently working from home. Might be more difficult if I was on a tight timescale.
The instructions on the app said that the driver would supply two bags: a black one for dry cleaning and a blue one for washing. In fact, the driver turned up with only a black bag so I wasn’t sure if both my items would be separated (they were, but I had no way of confirming).
The items came back carefully wrapped and crease-free.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes. It was convenient and cost effective.

No, it was fine.

  • App or website, and how did you find the process?

* App. Difficult as limited choices and lack of info to make informed decisions.

  • What product and service did you order?

* Single feather duvet and polyester blanket. I don't know if my items will be laundered or dry cleaned as i could not specify, nor did the driver have bags big enough for my items!

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

*Difficult as in awkward as so little explanation and choices are given.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

* No. Too rigid with pick up, drop off, service choice, detergent choice, inadequate bags for my items. The driver also called me 3 times but i didn't answer the calls and he took it as i wasn't home (cheeky) as i was. In fairness he collected on his return route albeit late after 10pm Sunday!

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

* Flexible pick up and drop off windows customers could choose. Also an option or advice on to launder or dry clean and the basic choice of bio or non bio detergent would be good.

How did you place your order - via the app and process was straight forward.

  • What product and service did you order? Feather duvet wash and overcoat dry clean.

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult? Very easy, you can amend the turn time if your plans change which is great.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not? No, although my garment and bedding was cleaned and returned well, the collection put me off entirely with my wool coat shoved into a bag with my duvet. I honestly felt like asking for it back at that point. I communicated with customer services who reassured me the best they could and well quick to reply, but until I got my belongings back I was concerned about what state they might be in. It’s a real shame as this made me loose trust in what was otherwise a good service. I must say though: the driver was incredibly polite and lovely, just perhaps requires some training.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all? Just the collection.

I placed the order via the app, which I found clunky & frustrating - not at all intuitive. You can accidentally add/remove items by lightly touching screen - doesn’t ask for confirmation. Although the app isn’t very user-friendly (basic things like when clicked on push notification about driver being on way not taken directly to that information) & the tracker froze on me (which was frustrating because I struggle to get to the door quickly due to my disability), the basic premise of handing over dirty items to be cleaned & them being returned clean works pretty well. The bags being tied together when they were returned wasn’t ideal mind you - I understand that’ll make it easier for drivers, but really not easier for me.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

To be honest I’m not sure. I don’t have experience with any other laundry services so I can’t compare them. They did a good job with my clothes, there are just some other issues...

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

* It would be good if drivers made the same basic efforts to socially distance seen with other delivery companies. Checking if customers are shielding, quarantining after travel, & maybe asking people not to use the service while self-isolating (am aware it’s not going to spread on the laundry, thinking of the drivers) would be good for the foreseeable future perhaps?
* Slightly worried about how securely customer data is kept & how it’s used as about 30 minutes after my laundry was dropped back I got a phonecall from someone at Laundrapp. Initially it was unclear what they were talking about, then transpired it must be the driver as they were saying they were close to my house, insisting they had stuff to drop back. They said something about 401 at which I pointed out my completely different address & they said “sorry” & hung up. Mistakes like that don’t make you feel very confident.
* Weighing orders for wash tumble dry & fold & offering some kind of voucher scheme (or similar) for loads that are under. Pretty sure they’ll charge for loads that are over, after all. Also suspect that I was overcharged - not convinced I sent a full load of laundry, but I didn’t have any way to check.
* Offering people choice of times not just dates for collection/delivery laundry - doesn’t matter so much for me personally, but can see for lots of people will mean difference in actual ability to use the service.
* Not leaving bags tied together on return. Might seem like a small thing. It’s not if you will struggle both to undo the knot and to manage lifting both bags at once.
* Ideally it’d be a wee bit cheaper.

-How did you place your order - via the app or website, and how did you find the process?

I found it really easy to book via the app

  • What product and service did you order (e.g. suit and five shirts bundle, wash, tumble dry & fold, bedding, dresses)?

Wash tumble dry and fold

  • How did you find using Laundrapp - was it easy, was it difficult?

It was quite easy to use the app, it seems very intuitive. I like the alerts that the driver is nearby.

  • Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I liked the convenience of it. It’s clearly a well-run, professional enterprise. The sheer joy is waving off a bag of dirty washing and then having lovely clean, folded washing returned to you cannot be underestimated.

  • What would you change about the service, if anything at all?

I’d change 2 things:

1 A 48 hour turnaround in London is slow. I can get my local launderette to do the same service wash, dry and fold within 3 hours

2 the non bio washing powder combined with 30 degree wash isn’t as effective as it could be. I had to rewash some of the whites with bio powder at a higher temp to get them properly clean.
