Live in London and have plans to move house? Would you like to test innovative estate agent, Nested?

We’re looking for 10 Mumsnet users to test modern estate agent, Nested.

Nested manages your sale as well as helping to negotiate on your onward purchase and provide dedicated chain management. Usually costing 1.75% of your final sale price, you’ll receive this service for free as a tester.

Have you already used Nested? Give your feedback here to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher.

Here’s what Nested has to say: “Nested is the first estate agent to manage your sale and purchase in one place. All for the price of a high street agent. We build a bespoke team of four experienced agents to manage your sale, advise on your purchase and coordinate your chain. Your journey begins with a no-obligation visit from your local Nested agent. They will learn what you're hoping to achieve from your sale, where you're planning to move to and will share a digital property report of your home.

If you have a deadline for moving, we can even give you the money to buy the new home before your old one is sold. That means you can buy your new home while we take care of your sale. You’ll even have a dedicated buying agent by your side to help you negotiate and ensure you secure your next home for the right price.”

If selected to take part, you’ll need to:

  • Have a short phone call with a Relationship Manager, so that Nested can understand your property and situation, and book a time for a home visit
  • Complete a short Valuation Questionnaire about your property
  • Have a home visit with your local Relationship Manager, where they will chat to you further about what you’re looking to achieve with your sale, a suggested marketing strategy and the next steps in the process
  • Agree on a list price and have professional photographs taken for the listing
  • Have your property listed for at least three weeks and accommodate viewings if booked in
  • Give feedback on the service via a short survey and a feedback thread on Mumsnet

All who test the service as above and then give their feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher.

If you’d like to take part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Hey @JustineBMumsnet I've experienced Nested and would like to leave feedback - but the link doesn't work for me.

I'd recommend them btw for anyone considering...

MissusMaker Can you post your review here, please? Am interested to know how you found the process.

Hi @sunshinesupermum it's not a proper review as such because we didn't end up actually using them, but my overall experience of them was excellent. I found that the staff on the phone were very clear about the (somewhat unusual) process and explained everything well. There was absolutely no hard sell. They had plenty of time to discuss everything, they did a lot of research about my property and the area between phone calls and offered some very good advice. I would definitely contact them next time I move.

Oh and the link is working now, thanks @JustineBMumsnet

Can I ask why you need to be in London? I'm about to put my property on the market but I'm on the South Coast.

I echo @MissusMaker's experience. Didn't end up using Nested but such an innovative idea and really knowledgeable staff. And definitely no hard sell.

We used Nested and they were amazing. Meant we could move quickly, acting like a first time buyer or without a chain.

@measureformeasure they are a London only agent! (quote: 'our London wide network')

They aren't going to go beyond their Oyster card, won't meet the business model. Their fee seems to be a bit cheaper than the London average so they need easy pickings.

VERY interested in doing this. I’ve got a valuation with another agent booked in for tonight, but would love to go down the Nested route! Would be great as I need to sell quickly. Have clicked on the link and completed.

Do you know when we will know if we’ve been selected? I too have other agents booked in to visit imminently! Thanks Mumsnet for the opportunity, I’ve heard great things about Nested.

@TwoDrifters2 echoing what you said. Would be great to know when they’re selecting. I’ve instructed another agent, but not signed the contract yet.

We used Nested two years ago (London) and were very very happy with them. Wonderful model.

No one should pay 1.75 ever- - utter madness.
