The shampoo and body wash and the oil definitely helped my little one with her skin issues. She has softer and clearer skin and has had less flare ups since using.
My only slight niggle is how thick the nappy ointment is - sometimes difficult to spread when cold (but this is a very very minor niggle)

Baby Oil- I really enjoyed using this product, my sensitive skin was not irritated and babys was left smelling lovely and felt soft. I used it whilst doing some massage which was also a lovely bonding experience.

Shampoo and body wash- This was easy to dispense from the bottle with one hand on baby, which is important for a bathing product! It smells gorgeous and lathered nicely. After a rinse baby was left clean, smelling lovely with soft skin.

Diaper Ointment- baby already had some nappy rash when I began using, so I can't comment on it as a preventative; but on its own it didnt clear it up. However, in conjunction with a product I already use (I usually use 2), it worked well.

2) Although packaging isn't the most important part of a product, these look absolutely beautiful; I like the fact that the range matched, and amongst a sea of brightly coloured cartoony packing looks really nice in the bathroom. The design also means it's easy to dispense (even without both hands free!) and there were no leaks. All of the products smell really nice, and I was really pleased with the ethics of the brand and the ingredients.

3) Quality of ingredients to be the best for babys skin is the most important thing for me; but price (especially being on maternity leave) is also an important consideration. Happy to pay for quality if it is beneficial to baby, and if the product will last for a while. All of which Burt's Bees ticked.

4) I think that the range is effective, I sometimes get irritated hands as I have sensitive skin, but none of these products did that. Baby also smelt lovely, and there were no areas of skin which were red after use. I would say though that the diaper ointment may be useful as a preventative, but I had to use in conjunction with another product for my baby who had nappy rash from teething.

5) I trust the range as use have proven to be gentle but effective on skin, and the ingredients are great.

6) I would definitely buy the body and hair wash and the oil, but in honesty I would only buy the diaper ointment to use in conjunction with my existing product.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

I am especially happy with the shampoo and wash, the smell of the shampoo is delicate but lasts at least 12 hours. His hair is very soft after use. My baby hasn’t suffered any dry skin since using the baby oil so I am happy with that, but he has experienced nappy rash whilst using the ointment.

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

The packaging is lovely and looks nice on display in his room. The scent of all of the products is lovely and lasts a long time once applied. The oil is very light so doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy, and a little of the shampoo and wash goes a very long way.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

It’s important to me that baby products are ultra sensitive. I was concerned before using the shampoo that it could irritate his eyes, but it was definitely gentle enough for him. Scent also matters to me, I don’t like overpowering perfumes on babies, the Burt’s bees range was subtle and fresh.

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

Very gentle but still does the job you want it to do. He never cried while having his hair rinsed using the shampoo, and his skin is really soft after continuous use of the oil.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

I was happy to test Burt’s bees products on my baby because I’ve used the adults ranges for years and the products have always been gentle and effective for me. I trusted Burt’s bees to produce the same level of quality I’ve experienced with the adults products, and I wasn’t disappointed as all the products used were high quality.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

I will definitely buy the shampoo, I would buy the oil if it was on offer as it’s quite expensive full price, but I probably wouldn’t buy the nappy ointment. I will probably buy the trio gift set for any friends who are expecting a baby.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

We liked the nappy cream, however were not keen on the oil or shampoo as the fragrance is quite strong. The shampoo dries out my daughters scalp, where she has eczema, so we weren’t able to use it more than twice. The oil was too strongly scented on my daughters skin, then made an awful mess of the bath when we added it to the water. So we weren’t a fan of either sadly.

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

The nappy cream worked well at calming any red patches, and had a much more gentle and natural smell.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

That they won’t irritate or dry out my daughter’s sensitive skin.

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

No, the fragrance of the oil and shampoo is very strong compared to other products designed for sensitive skin.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

I would have previously agreed however I am disappointed at how the wash dried my daughters skin out, and at how strong the products scent was.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

I would perhaps buy the nappy cream again, if it was on offer.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them?

I was a little unsure of the smell at first (not a honey lover) but now I like it. The body wash was lovely, very gentle on my baby’s skin and lathered just right was good to have something to wash his hair and his body plus we used some as bubble bath. I really loved the oil I have done a baby massage course so this oil was perfect to massage into his skin and his skin has felt so soft. The nappy cream was my least favourite probably because I’m quite particular about what I put on my baby and he has never had nappy rash as yet. Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?
Yes for sure his skin is so very soft it’s gorgeous
  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

Making sure that it contains natural products that won’t harm his skin.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved? Overall very happy with the performance of the products. My little one has inherited my sensitive skin so I was a little apprehensive about trying them, however there has been no reaction. The baby oil is definitely my favourite and I would say I have noticed her skin is softer. Diaper ointment is also very good, compared the ingredients list to our normal brand and was very pleased to see it was definitely more natural. It provided good coverage and decent barrier, no rash on bum. My only negative on the ointment would be the packaging. I prefer a tub as I feel it’s easier to get the correct amount (especially one handed when trying to change a wrigglery baby!). Shampoo and body wash smelt amazing and you only needed to use a small amount.
  2. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products? Definitely the fact that they are a more natural choice. And smell amazing!
  3. What is important to you when choosing a baby product? That they do what they say the will. I do also prefer more natural ingredients/products.
  4. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why? Definitely gentle, as mentioned my daughter has sensitive skin and when had previously tried other products she has had a bad reaction. No reaction noted with these products. I noticed a definite improvement in the softness of her skin. Also no nappy rash.
  5. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why? Yes, we checked the ingredients and they are definitely more natural than our normal brand. Each one of these products did exactly what it said it would. Very happy.
  6. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future? Yes, I would 100%. We will be making the switch to them longer term. And would definitely seek out more products to try.

Thank you for the opportunity to test these! They turned up in a beautiful box with lovely packaging (all been reused!)

What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? I really liked them. I had used a moisturiser for my eldest child a few years ago but didn't buy any for DC2, just didn't think to.
Do you think your child’s skin condition improved? Yes, my son had dry patches on his arm and the oil (and the ointment actually!) really helped it.

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products? The SMELL! the honey smell was amazing and such a nice change from the usual sweet/talcy smell of baby bath products.
  2. What is important to you when choosing a baby product? That it's as pure as possible and not watery and full of horrible chemicals
  3. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why? I do. It cleaned well with not using a lot of the body wash, ditto for the ointment, didn't need a lot and there was no nappy rash or irritation.
  4. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why? Yes, I do. His skin was cleaned gently and there was no irritation from the products so I trust they are well made and conscious of who they are making products for.
  5. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future? Definitely! I was looking for it in a supermarket this week. Thanks again

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

Generally, results were excellent. Certainly on a par or surpassing results from our usual brand. Her skin has been left soft and smooth, apart from a small patch of eczema flare up in her elbow crease (not caused by the product, but will only respond to hydrocortisone).

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

The scent is gorgeous, smells good enough to eat! The bath wash / shampoo was great for head to toe washing, a satisfying, honey-like consistency which made her hair clean, soft and fluffy. The oil was perfect for baby massage after her bath and the nappy cream provides an effective barrier without drying out her skin. We have had no issues with nappy rash since finishing treatment just prior to testing.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

Natural, no harsh chemicals and kind to sensitive skin. If suitable for dealing with eczema all the better, but as long as it doesn't make things worse, which this certainly did not. A light pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. I like a product where a little goes a long way, maximising value for money. These ticked all the boxes.

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

It certainly seems so! Without referring to the ingredients list and judging by smell and texture alone, I'd say this was fully organic. My baby's skin showed no adverse reactions during the trial and at no point did I have any cause for concern.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

Absolutely. I've used their products on myself and know them to be of the highest quality, and the baby bee range is no exception. I plan to keep on using the products - perhaps in rotation with others, as I do myself, but they are certainly in my top two.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

Yes, without a doubt!

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

Absolutely fantastic products. Nappy rash cleared really quickly compared to other products we use. My baby has sensitive skin and many products we have used has caused additional rashes, however the Burt's Bees products we have tested have helped with the softness of his skin. They also smell divine!

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

I love how quickly my baby's nappy rash has cleared as it causes him so much discomfort. He has been so much happier since using Burt's Bees.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

I like to use products that have good reviews, that have natural ingredients and also that the product does what it claims to do. Big thumbs up here for Burt's Bees!

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

As my baby has sensitive skin we are always wary of new products. Burt's Bees is definitely gentle and very effective. The body wash helped to calm my baby down before bed and his skin feels so soft and pretty much rash free! Definitely a gentle formula and the effectiveness? Will never use another nappy rash cream! I could not believe the difference in such a short space of time.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

Having never used Burt's Bees products before I was wary of how well the products would work. I was very surprised although had heard good things about the brand before. I now trust this brand as a regular product for my baby and for sensitive skin.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

I will definitely be buying Burt's Bees products in future. Have also been recommending the brand to my playgroup friends who too were impressed by the nappy rash ointment.

Thank you for allowing me to test these products!

I loved the shampoo and body wash because it's handy to have one product for baby rather than multiple ones. I got fed up trying to get the nappy cream out of the tube, it was too thick and hard to spread. The oil wasn't too greasy but I prefer a body lotion to oil as it's less messy.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

Usually I love Burt's Bees products but we were not impressed by these at all. We didn't like the smell and the hair & body wash didn't foam up in the bath water.

I didn't like that the cream was called 'diaper ointment', that's an American phrase and it made me think it's not a product for me. Luckily DD doesn't get nappy rash either so we didn't need to use it. I tested some on my hand and I didn't like the consistency.

These products did not cause DD any irritation and she has no skin problems.

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

Using the oil gave me an excuse to give DD a baby massage which was nice but we didn't like the smell of the oil so I wouldn't use it again.

I liked the pump on the hair and body wash, that was handy.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

Gentle ingredients, a pleasant smell, that it is nice to use, packaging is convenient.

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

It is gentle, we had no irritation on DDs skin or mine. The wash got her clean, the oil was oily and good for a massage. I didn't like the consistency of the 'diaper ointment', I would use something like Bepanthen instead if we needed something like that.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

I don't not trust them, we just didn't like them.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

I would not buy these products again unless they changed the formulation.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

The body wash foamed beautifully and left my baby lightly scented and clean. No skin irritation at all.

The ointment did the trick as much as any other ointment, cleared up a little nappy rash nicely.

The oil is beautiful and lovely for baby massage. My 4 year old also had a couple of back rubs with it, he loved it too.

The scent of the oil and body wash.

Yes. Reputation and now experience.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

Yes definitely. Probably not the nappy cream unless in a gift set for someone else as I have tonnes already but the wash and oil yes.

The nappy cream packaging was a bit tricky to squeeze sometimes and I’d love to see an alternative packaging, maybe something biodegradable? The lids on the oil and wash are fab though.

The products all performed very well, the wash in particular bubbled very well with not much used and kept us squeaky clean. Not sure about her skin improving but she was clean and soft. The nappy cream did clear up a sore patch very quickly but was a bit too thick for my liking.

  1. What do you think about the performance of these 3 products now that you have tried them? Do you think your child’s skin condition improved?

I have to say I really liked all three of the products. I had only used Child's Farm before these, but I will now be purchasing the shampoo definitely, and probably also the oil and nappy cream. My son has baby eczema and didn't have a reaction to any of the 3 products. The oil made a difference to the roughness of his skin too which was great. I really liked the shampoo too, and we actually keep getting compliments on how shiny his hair is since using it!

  1. What is that you liked the most about the Burt’s Bees Baby products?

I liked that they smell great, and were kind to my baby's skin - he has eczema and did not have any adverse reactions to all three of the products. A little also goes a long way, especially with the shampoo, it lathers up great with only a small amount.

  1. What is important to you when choosing a baby product?

That the ingredients used would be safe for my baby and that any skincare products do not cause an adverse reaction.

  1. Do you think the Burt’s Bees Baby range is gentle and effective? Why?

Yes. As stated my son suffers with eczema so we are wary what we use on his skin. The Burt's Bees Baby range caused no adverse reactions and so I would say that it is indeed gentle. The nappy cream worked well in clearing up a slight nappy rash that my son too, so this was very effective.

  1. Do you trust the Burt’s Bees Baby range for use on your baby? Why?

Yes. Having used the products I am more than happy to continue to do so and recommend them as I know that they are kind to my son's skin, smell great, and are good value for money.

  1. Would you consider buying Burt’s Bees Baby products in the future?

Yes, definitely. I will 100% be continuing to buy the shampoo, and will also consider buying the nappy cream and baby oil.
