Taste-
I really didn’t like the taste or aftertaste.
DH liked them.
Two of the kids liked them, one said it was ‘alright’ and one really didn’t like them.

Occasion- as an alternative to the main birthday cake for those who need.

Difference - attractive child friendly look unlike some other vegan / allergy friendly products which can be a bit ‘worthy’ looking !
Recommend - yes due to same reasons as above
Buy again- if we needed to cater for children at a party with dietary requirements but not as a regular purchase

Thanks for choosing us Smile

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?

We loved them, even DP who is the pickiest said he really enjoyed them.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

My sister is heading towards a vegan diet after years as a vegetarian and we said that we'd purchase these cakes for her when she comes over for tea and cake. We'd probably buy them for birthdays too, any occasion that might require cake for those with dietary needs.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?

They look more appealing than most other vegan cakes. Plus it's obvious that they're vegan without needing to look too hard. They're in bright and cheerful packaging which is recyclable too!

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?

We've already recommended them to a few people. We took them to a family event and had lots of questions about them. They're a great alternative for those who need them.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?

Definitely, although I'd be inclined to pick them up more frequently if they were slightly lower in price (around £3.50) or if they were in a pack of 4 or 6 regular sized cupcakes.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
Anytime I needed to cater a treat for vegetarian or vegan or someone with allergies.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
My children loved the taste of them as did I.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
Not sure. Maybe as a special treat but not weekly.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
They seem to have developed a product that is good for those with allergies but is still very tasty.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
If I had a friend looking for a treat for someone with an allergy I would recommend it.
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Depends on the price.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
I thought they were just as good or perhaps better than other vegan cakes, but not as good as non-vegan. Strange oiliness that comes from using oil instead of butter and eggs. My toddler wasn't super enthused. My husband thought they were ok.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
Maybe if I were catering for a party attended by vegan children.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
I'm not sure it is different.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
I'd definitely recommend the friend consider OGGS if they had dietary requirements that required vegan.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Probably not, as the taste was inferior to non-vegan unfortunately. The only vegan cake I've had that's been amazing is the Nigella lemon tender cake - see BBC for recipe.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?

Personally I didn’t like them, they left a slight after taste and were quite sweet but we had our two vegan neighbours over and they really like them, eating many in one sitting!

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

I would only purchase them if an occasion required it - such as having our vegan friends over, birthday parties that were necessary etc.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?

Recyclable colourful packaging. I personally had to look quite hard for the word vegan on the packaging though.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?

I think I would recommend only to vegan friends, I wouldn’t expect many none vegans would choose these, especially after looking up the price.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?

Only if I needed too cater for any vegans

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
My dh and I didn't like them at all, the after taste was pretty grim. My ds and dd did enjoy them.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
I probably wouldn't purchase them again to be honest. But if I needed a vegan cupcake them there is a possibility of buying them
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
The packaging was cute, however these are the first vegan/free from cupcakes I've actually looked at
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
No. They didn't taste amazing, we still have some leftover so my friends can try them if they see them here.
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
No, I didn't like the taste.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?

I was really surprised by how nice they tasted considering the calories and free from. The icing was lovely and creamy tasting and the cakes were delicious and soft. I handed them round to numerous visitors and children and everyone liked them.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

I think if they were a better price I would purchase them as a weekly staple but as I’m not vegan/vegetarian or on a restricted diet the price point is quite high compared to other products.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?

The lower calorie, egg free and vegan

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?

I sent the information to a friend who’s child has allergy’s but due to the factory disclaimer on the packaging she couldn’t try them she did say she would be happy to pay that price if he was able to eat them.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?

Yes but probably when they were on offer.

Thanks for picking me, was a lovely surprise

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
I don't have children however my DH managed to polish off the whole packet in a few hours. He was impressed with the taste as he is a strictly meat with every meal kind of guy.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

When I fancied cake or need to cater for vegans
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
Very nice packaging, would rather it wasn't plastic however. The cakes are well presented and look moist.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Yes and I have already. The cake was nice but the frosting was too sweet for me
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Probably not as I didn't enjoy the frosting, but I would be interested in the cake only.

They look cute with the little sprinkles. DP and I thought they were way too sweet, dc liked them.

I was vegan for a while and I was eating a very healthy diet of vegetables, pulses etc. Back then these would have seemed like an amazing treat.

Children liked them and thought they looked pretty, despite being very bashed about in the post. I thought they were too sweet and rather dense, and very 'eggy' tasting!

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes? My son absolutely loves them for a snack. (The two packs have not lasted long. They seem to disappear every time certain people are in the kitchen. ) However, I have been informed not to put in lunchbox because they are bit too messy and the vanilla frosting created a bit of a mess even in a small tub of its own.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for? For a treat for after school, parties where there are known people who are allergic to dairy/egg or vegan so everyone can eat the same thing.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands? They are vegan, dairy/egg free, relatively low in calories but taste really good.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that? Delicious and perfect size for a snack.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to test these.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
Initially as a family we were very much looking forward to testing. My boys enjoyed the experience of testing ,but we all thought them over sweet and a little artificial tasting.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
We are a vegetarian family and I also bake. The I would continue to make than purchase these.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands ?

Very good for vegans who want a sweet hit.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
I'm sorry but I would not recommend due to the over sweetness, and artificial taste.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
I would look at other products within the range, but these ones are not for us.

I would purchase them for birthday parties and as a snack through the week

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
I would, they are a perfect size portion and not too much sugar, the vegan and egg free would be suitable for allergies( providing they aren't severely allergic )

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
Both of my children enjoyed them. I disliked the frosting which I thought tasted very artificial and powdery. The texture of the actual cupcakes was excellent really light and tasty.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
For vegan friends or allergy children at play dates abs parties when I didn’t have time or will to start baking!

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
Everyone enjoyed the cakes, especially the children as they have a sweet tooth.

Parties, weekend treats, school fairs.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
Having tried a few vegan cakes in the past these cakes were much more moist and tasted like 'normal' cakes.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
Yes, especially if they were vegan.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Yes, I particularly liked the size.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
My children liked them, and said that they taste like cake mix (raw batter, which they love). They were’t as keen on the icing, which they said tasted ‘weird’. I felt that the cakes were a bit oily, but that could’ve been because of the hot weather on the day.

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
They would make great party food/afternoon tea/picnic cupcakes. Or to eat as a snack with a cup of tea.

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
The ‘free from’ aspect, but also their small size, which I much prefer to huge icing smothered standard cupcakes. This makes them more suitable as a treat for you d children or as part of a healthy diet for older children.

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
I’d recommend them to a friend whose dc have food intolerences.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
I’d try them, but not sure they’d become a regular thing.

Thanks for selecting us to test the cakes 🧁

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes? We enjoyed them. They are a nice size for a sweet treat and we didnt really think about them not having eggs or dairy. Both my daughter (4) and I agreed the topping was way too sweet and could be adjusted. Also the cupcakes we received the topping was off centre and hanging off the top of each cake, consequently it stuck to the packaging when we tried to remove. Not sure if this happened at source or in transit.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for? probably only if we had someone with allergies or vegans visiting as otherwise, the cost doesn't justify it.
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands? The ingredients to allow those with allergies to enjoy.
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that? I would if they were vegan or had allergies
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future? as above.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?
We liked them, there was a strong flavour of vanilla and also a slightly coconutty taste, combined with the greasy icing it made me think that coconut oil was used in the icing but it wasn't. The sponge was lovely and moist really nice, but the icing needs work.
What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?
If I ever met a vegan? I don't tend to buy sugary cakes, if we have them we make them as at least it feels as if they're learning something 😂
What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
The egg freeness?
Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?
If someone was vegan with a sweet tooth, yes!
Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
I'm not sure, we don't often tend to buy ready made cakes and if I did I would try and find the tastiest looking cake with the least sugar.

What did you/your children think of the taste of OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes?

The taste was very nice, had the sweetness that you expect of a cupcake , the topping had a nice consistency and was very much like butter icing I was surprised how nice it tasted. My friend and friends children aged 11 and 6 also like it ... they finished off the box to Put it mildly I am taking the other pack you supplied to my cousins sons 4 th birthday party 🥳

What occasions would you purchase OGGS® mini vanilla cupcakes for?

Mostly for birthday parties incase if allergies or gatherings with vegan family members, but they do taste and look good so wouldn’t be against purchasing for the simple pleasure of consuming them know they are cruelty free yummies ... the ultimate feel good factors

What makes OGGS® different from other supermarket brands?
It looks young in terms of the packaging design .. I like how the cupcakes are simple yet eye catching sometimes less is more. Also you can have 9 in one packet where often specially dietary food you only
Get one or two of said items per purchase/

Would you recommend OGGS® to a friend and why is that?

They taste like good cake.

Will you purchase OGGS® products in the future?
Yes I believe I would

Side note :- I was having friends round and got them all to try.

My friend really Liked they were egg and dairy free as her youngest is intollerant to this... also the added vitamins ... but she was worried about the number of E numbers in them this factor turned her from a potential purchaser to less likely .. as her child struggles with these

This currently isn’t a concern for myself but worth a mention
