This is the feedback thread for the Mumsnet users who have been testing Sleepeezee’s new personalised memory foam dog beds, in either the flat or basket style.

Here’s what Sleepeezee has to say: “British bed manufacturer Sleepeezee is proud to launch a collection of dog beds, in partnership with Battersea Dogs Home, which offer your companion a great sleep. Two distinct styles are available in a selection of sizes and colours, all of which can be personalised with your dogs name on.”

Testers, when you’re ready to give your feedback and have tested washing the bed’s removable cover, please give your feedback by answering the following questions, as well as completing the short survey we’ve emailed you.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
What did you think of the look of the bed?
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?

If you feel comfortable sharing, we’d love to see images of your dogs testing the beds, too!

All testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I love the bed, it's a good size, I like the colour I chose but I didn't dislike any of the colours tbh. The marl effect means that the dirt isn't immediately obvious either which is a good thing. It is pretty heavy which I really like as well because Bella shags her beds Grin but this one is too heavy for her to be able to manoeuvre it.
What did you think of the look of the bed?
I think it looks smart and sturdy it's pretty unobtrusive as well which is something I appreciate.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Yes Bella has her name on her bed, the dc think it's great. It's well done and a nice little extra
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Bella loves the bed and seems to have chosen to lie in there above her preference for my footstool which I really appreciate. She likes the raised sides to prop up her head.
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Getting the cover off was a struggle because Bella helpfully threw up on the bed before I got the email about how to take off the cover. It will be easier next time I imagine. It washed really well and line dried pretty quickly. There was no residual smell in the padding which impressed me. Ds helped me put the cover back on which seemed to make it easier.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Yes would fully recommend to family and friends and have suggested exh buys one for his dog as well.
Thank you Mumsnet and Sleepeezee for choosing Bella to test the bed. Photo shown is how Bella has spent much of the last week.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed? It looked really comfy. Good size. Liked the colour. Seemed to be good quality.
What did you think of the look of the bed? It looked good - neutral so fitted in with my decor, where as other pet beds seem to be quite garish.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts? Didn't use.
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable? Very much so. He loves it. Even seems to prefer it over the sofa...!
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover? Very. No problems at all.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family? Yes, definitely.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed? Great quality, hard wearing and comfy. Milo loves a little chew on his bed so it was great to have one with quality material that he couldn't get his teeth into Smile
What did you think of the look of the bed? It looks great and milo's name embroidered was a lovely touch.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? Yes I did.
If so what are your thoughts? It looks great.
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable? Yes he did .
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover? Washed and dried absolutely fine.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family? Yes I would although I think the price may put some off.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I was really pleased with the bed. It looks very nice, it's sturdy and it's a really good size.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
It looks really nice, it's certainly not unpleasant to have in the living room and it came in a good range of colours. It also looks really good quality.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Yes, I think it makes it look just that little bit nicer. Although it was embroidered with our labradors name it has had plenty of use from our spaniel and toddler too, maybe I should have got all their names on it.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Yes, she often sleeps near me on the sofa in the evening and has her stinky moments which isn't ideal! She's slowly spending more and more time in this bed instead.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Surprisingly easy. When the bed first arrived I was shocked by the size and by the weight of it. It's the biggest bed available and I'm 37 weeks pregnant so it wasn't that easy for me to move it around. My husband helped with removing and replacing the covers for washing and actually that has been really well thought out. Turning it inside out for the basket bed makes it a lot easier. It's definitely an important aspect of the beds long term use because as I mentioned previously the Labrador is sometimes not that fragrant!

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Definitely, I was most impressed by the size, quality and comfort. My dogs often like to sleep in a bed together and there was plenty of room for them to do that. I think it would probably even be big enough for my Mum's Newfoundland to sleep in it. The price is high but if the bed stays this nice long term then it's worth buying rather than a lot of cheaper ones which don't last.

I loved the bed. And so did Kris.
I like the fabric (blue marl), quite a few dog beds used fabric that look like end-of-rolls in dodgy colours and patterns.
I chose the basket style as he’s not had one of those before, and was pleased by how firm the edges were. (More of that later).

It was personalised which was nice, but being such a large bed, the letters were comparatively small. I wouldn’t pay extra for it.

Very very comfy for Dog. He’s currently snoring in it. With his Donald Trump toy.

Washing......well, the cover of the bottom flat part was easy to remove and replace. The side cushion parts were soooo difficult. As I undid the zips, it was apparent why the sides were so firm; the inner cushions are packed in really tightly.

I live on my own and it was a nightmare to get the outer cushion covers back on. I needed to be an octopus.

However, the fabric washed beautifully at 60, dried fairly quickly and no shrinkage.

I would recommend it to family and friends if they could get someone to help them put the cover back on. I will wash the base cushion as required but probably try to avoid washing the side supports.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
Very high quality, very large and quite heavy- sturdy and looks as though it will last really well. I have not seen beds of this high quality anywhere else. I’ve been looking for a supportive bed for my 14 yo rescue ex-racing greyhound for a while and really pleased to be selected to test this one as I think it offers excellent support for her.
What did you think of the look of the bed?
Really nice, neutral and unobtrusive in sensible colour choices.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Did not use.
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Yes - it’s quite high so initially she avoided it as she had to ‘step up’ onto it and she’s a bit shaky on her feet these days. Once she got on it and lay down she seemed very happy!
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Absolutely fine, it’s quite a large bed but also a large zip which helped.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Definitely. The price is quite high but it does seem like it will last very well and it’s excellent quality. I think the fabric seems a very tight knit and robust enough to stand up to our three dogs!

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
It was heavier and more dense than I was expecting.
What did you think of the look of the bed?
It's smart looking. A good neutral range of shades that would be fit into most rooms.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I did, and it's nice, but less noticeable than/slightly overshadowed by the sleepeezee logo.
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
He does, using the sides as a cushion. He still moves from sofa to bed to wherever else he fancies, but the bed is a definite contender. He doesn't dig at it the way he does his other beds and cushions, which bodes well for it lasting! I've never spent a lot on a bed because he's chewed through everything else so it didn't seem worthwhile. This one he's allowed to stay intact!
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Need to come back to this- I'm going to get my DSs to do it. The bed hasn't got dirty at all in the week or so he's used it- no smell, no marks.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
I certainly would, if they were planning to spend a significant amount.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
It was larger than I thought it would be. I asked for the medium and have a cokerpoo sized dog but really could have done with a small. It is very smart and I love the colour (blue marl).
What did you think of the look of the bed?
It is very smart and I love the colour (blue marl). It is probably the nicest looking bed Lola has had.
Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Yes and it's a lovely touch. Quite difficult to see it on the basket type beds though.
Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Lola loves lying up against the sides and certainly is very comfy in it. She has taken some time to get used to it but chooses it over the sofa now. The sides are really firm so all good there.
How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Not the easiest to get off and on, especially the basket itself. There is definitely a knack to it. However the fabric washed really well and looks like new when washed.
Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Yes I would, especially if the dog is a larger, heavier breed. I wonder if Lola is too light for the dense mattress.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?

We have 6 ex racing greyhounds, So lots of dog beds lying around the house and this is very high quality.

What did you think of the look of the bed?

The bed looks great, and there were an extensive range of fabrics, so you could match the decor of your room.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?

We had Dougies name embroidered on the bed and it looks great, again very good quality and should last well.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?

Dougie has a bad back, so a firm base is really important for him and he seems to find the bed really comfy, unfortunately, so do the other five, and none of them can read so they don't know it's Dougies bed - it's certainly one of the favoured spots in our house, (along with our bed and the sofa).

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?

Because the bed is so firm I was expecting more of a struggle than it was, washed really well and went back on perfectly, (some beds never look the same).

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?

I would definitely recommend these beds, particularly for people with older dogs who need a bit more support.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
Really sturdy and well made. DDog is crated overnight and it fits perfectly in it. We got the small size and it fits 2 miniature dachshunds in.
DDog has some leftover paralysis (IVDD) and often has accidents in bed so being washable is a must for him, also not falling apart after 3 washes.
He’s also been known to chew beds to bits and this hasn’t even been nibbled yet.
After it arrived I had a look to see how much it would have cost and was horrified by the price but having had a good look at it I can see why.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
It looks good! Love the colour (blue) and it looks snug and comfortable.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
It’s well done but the font is a bit basic.
While it’s quite amusing to have his name on it it’s not something I’d pay an extra £20 for.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
He does. he’s opted to sleep in the bed a few times rather than on a lap which is unheard of!

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
The cover came off really easily once I read the tip to turn it inside out first. I like the way you can do just the bottom mattress bit or the whole thing depending on which bit is grubby. DDog often has accidents in bed (left over IVDD paralysis) so I forsee this being extremely useful. It’s great it can be washed at a higher temperature and the inserts look water/wee proof.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
I would yes! I know it’s expensive but I really think it’s worth the outlay compared with buying 17 chewable, non-washable, more flimsy beds over time.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I was surprised at how weighty and comfortable it was when it arrived. It looks really smart and I am don't have to hide it when people come round like I did with her last bed.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
I like the colour and the low sides. It looks stylish. Practically speaking I liked the dark colour. All the better to camouflage muddy paw prints.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I did and visitors have noticed and congratulated me on finding another way to spoil my dog. It would be a great present.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Yes, and I'm not surprised! It is so squishy and comfortable compared with her old foam bed. As one of my children said 'you can feel the quality'.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Very easy to get off and back on again. The last bed I had that was supposed to have a removable cover completely collapsed when I put it back on. A removable cover is a definite selling point for me.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family
Yes I already have to my sister who has just got a rescue lurcher who is currently sleeping on a sofa cushion.

To complete my review above...
The wash test: it was easy to get the covers off and I was impressed by the finish of the cushion Inserts. They washed and dried quickly.

DS2 (19) put the bed back together. In his words, "Cool, the bed was mostly ok to put together except for the front section was a right pain in the arse. All told it took me about 5 mins, sometimes the stitching of the pillow bits would get caught in the zip which was annoying."

Thank you!

And thank you from Pickledog too

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I was surprised at how heavy the bed was, it is very sturdy and supportive. You can tell that it is a very good quality bed. The bed has quite a high price point but I imagine that this bed will last for years due to the quality.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
The bed comes in neutral colours that will look good in any living space.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I did use the personalisation option, it looks good but I think it could do with being bigger as the sleepeezee logo looks massive next to it.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
My dog doesn't like beds that are too soft and squishy, because this bed is quite firm and supportive he has taken to this bed and used it.

How easy did you find washing the bed's cover?
The cover was easy to remove and put back onto the bed. It washed perfectly well at 60 degrees.

Would you recommend the bed to friends and family?
I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a stylish, high quality dog bed.

Overall thoughts: This bed was in a different league to the cheap (£20 or under) beds I have bought Bobby since he joined our family 4 months ago and it feels like a quality product which would last a long time.

Looks: The fabric was a marl effect which won't show the dirt, it feels like a good quality upholstery fabric which you would get on expensive sofas. I really liked it, it looks very smart.

Personalisation: The option would have cost £20, The type setting was small and to the side making the brand the main focus. We don't have many personalised items for him so I like having it, but would have liked the font to be a little bigger.

Comfortable: We chose the basket for Bobby and think I made a good choice as he can use the side as a pillow. His finding it comfortable and moving between it and his cool mat for his day time naps. The children would have liked one in their size too. During the night, he is sleeping on it, not next to it like he was sleeping on his old bed but still getting us up too early in the morning.

Washing: The zips on the basket shaped bed are hidden so my sister's first comment was that's not washable (apart from the cushion). Being able to turn it inside out to unzip and wash at a hot temperature to kill any nasties that might be lurking is a game changer. I had been treating the cheaper beds as disposable as they were almost impossible to wash, but despite the high price of this bed the fact I can wash it and it looks as good as new means it could last for years. I am hoping that the fabric stays as good after multiple washes but only time will tell.

Recommend? My sister is already impressed by what she has seen, she also wants to see how it wears over the next few months but first impressions are really favourable.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?

The bed is very sturdy compared to any dog bed we've had and I love the fabric.

What did you think of the look of the bed?

I thought the bed was great quality, really sturdy and luxury.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?

I did use the embroidery and I really liked it, simple but effective.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?

Yeah, she was happy to sleep in it, she liked sleeping tucked up in a corner at the back.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?

It washed really well, felt and looked just as well when it had been washed, I line dried it and it dried quite quick. Was a bit of a pain to put back together but no I've done it once it will be easier.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?

I would recommend it, it is quite expensive but it's probably worth it over time as cheaper dog beds need replacing often.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
It was a lot bigger and heavier than I expected, but very sturdy and you can see and feel the quality when compared to the usual cheap dog beds I tend to buy. Our dog does that thing where he scratches his bed in a frenzy before settling down - and this looks like it will easily be able to withstand that!

What did you think of the look of the bed?
The bed matches our settee and the material colour, texture, thickness and quality is something which I think you’d expect from an actual settee! It blends nicely into our living room so it’s not the first thing you notice when you walk in.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I loved the embroidery, it’s very well done, hasn’t started to come loose at all after washing the cover and adds that nice extra touch.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable? Yes - so much so that we move the bed into the kitchen when we’re going to bed, as he prefers this one to his old bed.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
We had the flat bed - the cover removed really easily, but was a bit of a struggle to get back on. The cover washes fine and I was pleasantly surprised that the filling/mattress didn’t smell at all. I can already tell that this bed is going to last a long time.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Absolutely! Yes it’s on the expensive side but when I think about how much we’ve spent in 3 years on beds that only last 6 months or less and then need replacing, I think this one is worth the investment - in fact we’ll probably order another one to keep in the kitchen to save us lugging the bed between rooms.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
Really like the fabric, looks very well-made. Good range of colours available. Price tag is hefty!

What did you think of the look of the bed?
A little bit plain but then as it's well-made I'm not too fussed about it being 'stylish'. (We trialled the flat bed).

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
We did, it's a lovely touch and the stitching is also high quality. I wonder though if it might be worth positioning the Sleepeeze logo to the right have side if you have embroidery as otherwise your dog's name is overshadowed by the logo so loses some of the impact.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
I feel terrible for having to type this, but whilst I loved the bed and our toddler loves the bed... our greyhound has spent less than 10 minutes on it in the week we've had it. He's really not keen to go on it at all 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm pretty sure this is because it's quite a firm mattress (we have other memory foam dog beds that are softer and he loves those). I was originally going to trial the basket style but wasn't convinced it would be big enough as we usually have to buy XL/XXL to fit our dog, but as others have commented the size is very generous so I'm kicking myself as I'm convinced he'd have preferred the basket style.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Cover was easy to wash. As our dog hasn't used the bed there weren't any marks so can't comment on how well it washes with stains.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
I cautiously would just because I think it's a good quality dog bed. However our other dog beds cost between £50-£100 and have lasted well over the years and our dog loves them. I think although this bed is very well made I would be gutted if if spent the full RRP just to have him reject the bed due to firmness.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?

Very sturdy, seems well made and comfortable. Larger than I expected but that’s not a bad thing and gives our retriever lots of room to stretch out! I wouldn’t normally buy such a luxury bed for our dog as it’s quite expensive but it does seem a lot nicer than the budget brand we had before! Our dog really seems to like it.

What did you think of the look of the bed?

We liked it, simple, stylish (we have the flat bed), love the colour (grey) and are really happy that it’s personalised 😊. The fabric is of high quality, much more like you would expect on a sofa rather than a pet bed. Very tasteful and matches with other furniture in our sitting room.

Embroidery personalisation

A very sweet touch, nice quality embroidery

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?

Yes she does. She is happy to lie on it and has fallen asleep on it a few times. She still prefers an old sofa as her nighttime sleeping place but that’s down to our bad training rather than any fault of the bed!

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?

The cover was incredibly easy to remove and replace. I liked the fact that the zip was slightly concealed which felt safer for younger dogs who may be tempted to chew the zip and maybe swallow it. I washed the cover at 40 degrees and it dried quickly on the line on a windy day. Once the cover was back on, the bed looked just like new.

Would you recommend the bed to friends and family?

Yes, although obviously it’s a bit more expensive than most. It looks very stylish and the washable cover is the biggest asset as we also have chickens and our dog loves to roll in chicken poo in the garden 😶🤢. I’m really pleased with the product which looks like it will last a long time.

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?

The poor dog didn't get a look in! The kids absolutely loved it! Once the dog had evicted the kids she seemed to like it too. She chose it over her old bed every time!

What did you think of the look of the bed?

We had the blue marl coloured one. It was simply lovely. Everyone commented on how nice the bed looks.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?

Yes. It's a nice touch for a gift. One thing that let it down was the placement of the writing. It should have been higher.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?

My dog seemed very comfortable. She chose it over her other bed. We had the large sized one and I had a quick try. It is very comfortable probably more so than my bed!

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?

The covers washed really well. Love the fact they can be washed on a 60° wash. My dog absolutely covered it in mud, popped it in the wash and it was all gone. Brilliant. So much easier than stuffing her old bed into the washing machine. I found the covers a bit fiddly to get on and off but I am sure after a few more goes it'll get easier!

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?

Definitely! It may be expensive but with the right care it'll last for ages. You can tell that the bed has been made with quality materials and should last seeing as it is so easy to wash!

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I was surprised at how large it was! I choose Medium - my cocker spaniel could stretch out fully with room to spare.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
It looks very well made - the trim is smart and the sewing is good quality. The colour is neutral so doesn't overwhelm the room the way that kids' stuff does.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I did - such a cute touch and very neat stitching (it isn't going to snag easily on claws).

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
He did and so did I (well, it was so large I couldn't resist plonking myself down next to him to test it).

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Very easy! The zip is hidden in nice deep seams so it won't get damaged easily. The cover slipped off easily, I washed it at 40 degrees and it looks perfect.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Yes - it looks great, dog finds it comfy and it is made to last. Thank you for letting us test it!

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?
I've been really impressed with it so far. The large size lives up to it's description and my dog is able to stretch out on it without ending up half on the floor.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
It looks like a high quality product and it's an unobtrusive addition to the furniture in any room despite it's size. There was a good choice of colours which would look good in any home.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
Yes - It is a nice addition, although not something I would have paid extra for, unless perhaps giving the bed to someone as a gift. The font is a bit small for the large sized bed and maybe it would have looked nicer in the same style as the Sleepeezee logo.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
DDog is definitely finding it comfortable and he is now using it in preference to sneaking on to my bed or the sofa. It has enough 'give' in it to be nice to lie on, but still has plenty of support and doesn't look like it would sink in the middle, through to the hard floor. DDog is starting to get a few aches in his joints and the support from this bed is fantastic for him.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
The cover was easy to remove and to put back on thanks to the long length of the zip. It washed well and looks as good as new again. It is also easy to brush the hair off each day - something that is vital in a permanently shedding Labrador! The mattress also had a waterproof cover underneath which should stop it from getting too much of a dog smell.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?
Yes I would recommend this product and have already shown it to friends and family with dogs. I've always bought cheap dog beds in the past which have proved to be a false economy. So far this appears to be good quality that will last. DCat also gives it his approval (much to the disgust of DDog) and would recommend a small version for his feline friends.

Thank-you to Sleepeezee and Mumsnet, from myself, DDog and DCat for having the chance to test this bed!

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?

Overall I think it’s a very smart looking bed and practical in design. The waterproof under layer is a very good idea. It’s also more comfortable than my own bed so I’m glad that my dog can languish in comfort. I asked for the large & it is in fact VERY large so plenty of room to sprawl should the mood strike.

What did you think of the look of the bed?

Yes the bed looks great, it’s a lovely colour (we chose blue) and the trim makes it look sophisticated.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?

Yes I did and it’s a nice touch... might be nice to have to option of choosing the embroidery colour, but we were very happy with the white on blue.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?

Yes! After she’d got over the shock of the change of scene (rescue dog) then she took to the bed quickly and seems to love it.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?

Easy to wash, I appreciated the zip being tucked away it’s a nice design. It also dried really quickly just hung up in the kitchen.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family?

Yes indeed 😁

What were your overall thoughts on the bed?*
I was initially really surprised at how weighty it was. Nice colour, and by far the sturdiest dog bed we have owned. My dog went straight in, which was a surprise as usually he takes a few weeks to come to like a new bed.

What did you think of the look of the bed?
I like the colour and the sides, ddog likes to rest his head on the higher sides. It looks quite stylish and finished to a high quality.

Did you use the embroidery personalisation option? If so what are your thoughts?
I did and it's a lovely touch. The only thing I would change is to have the embroidery placed centrally on the front of the bed.

Did your dog seem to find the bed comfortable?
Yes, he did! He can be unsettled of an evening and move from sofa to bed to floor, but now he is incredibly happy and doesn't move from the bed.

How easy did you find washing the bed’s cover?
Very easy to get the cover off to wash. It washed and dried incredibly well, and was easy enough to put back on. I would have liked to be able to wash the main body of the bed too, though, as that was how ddog's last bed bit the dust - he had been sick on it during the night and it was impossible to clean.

Would you recommend the bed to friends or family
Yes I already have, to my brother and sister in law. Really well made and excellent quality.

@ThomasShelbysBunnet, you can wash the main body of the bed. Turn it inside out and there is a zip that goes round the inside of the base.
