Recruitment is now closed

OGGS® are looking for 200 Mumsnet users to test their new vegan friendly mini cupcakes. This product test is open to all UK Mumsnet users.

Here’s what OGGS® has to say: “Whether you’re after something a little bit lighter or in need of a bite-sized treat, these marvellous mini cupcakes are the perfect snack for the whole family. Baked using our OGGS® Aquafaba, an all-plant liquid egg substitute made from chickpea water, they are vegan friendly. And at less than 99kcal each and made with less sugar, you don’t have to feel so guilty about scoffing a whole box!”

Selected testers will be sent two 9 packs of OGGS® Mini Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting and Sprinkles. If selected you’ll need to give your feedback on the cakes by posting on a feedback thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey. All testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’d like to take part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Sadly, I think the statement from OGGS which says
suitable for almost all dietary requirements.
may be somewhat off the mark... being gluten free is now quite a common dietary requirement, but as they are not - and my DC needs them to be - I won't be one of the testers Sad

(They look nice though!)

Yes I also saw that quote and thought “Ooh! I could take a few into work and share with gf colleague”. GF colleague is going to be out of luck. Nowadays if you say “almost all dietary requirements” then I’d expect you’re excluding Gwyneth Paltrow style raw food quirks, not something as mainstream as gf.
Not saying they should be gf of course- just that it’s an annoying quote to use if they’re not.

I put them in my shopping basket when i was doing my last online order, and took them out because i wasnt sure if theyd go to waste. I dont know if theyd dry out before they were all eaten. Im on the look out for something we can all have rather than keep having to by seperate dairy free stuff for one of us, so if these are tasty they have a good chance of becoming a permanent member of our household.

Signed up, with two of my children who suffered with CMPA it would be great to find something yummy and diary and egg free. Especially as I'm pregnant with my 4th baby and prepared for it to happen again so finding products now will be great for when its weaning time.

What does ‘made with less sugar’ mean! Made with less sugar than what!!?

Be interested to see if they still taste as good as standard cake.
