  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

I used the vanish on a white coat that my daughter had rolled in mud in, it was caked and the coat didn’t come out clean the first time so I lathered it in vanish and it came out beautifully. Also ketchup and poo!

  • What did you like most about the product?

The smell - really fresh.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, easy to use and great results

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I used a powder stain remover previously but preferred this and easier to apply and could apply directly to stains easily

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

Yes and yes!

- What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Baby poo, chocolate mousse from a white school polo shirt, and some mysterious stains on my clothes.
- What did you like most about the product? I liked the smell of the product, and I found it did work. It was a lot thinner than other brands and had less of a chemically smell and feel.
- Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? I’d definitey recommend this for parents with kids wearing white shirts to school, they get so messy and it got all the stains out in the first wash. I don’t think it was that harsh so parents of tiny babies could use it too. Also, owners of muddy dogs. Normally there’s still a mark from the stains I’ve mentioned but they seem to have gone for now! Yay!
- Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? I’ve always used vanish stain removal in the powdered form, which I find amazing for my whites but this worked better on colours so it’s nice to have something for both. I’ve definitely noticed that things look much cleaner and there aren’t strange marks on the clothes from stubborn stains.
- Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products? I use the vanish power as mentioned above, and I would definitely buy this product to go with the rest.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Poo stains, curry and mud

  • What did you like most about the product?

I liked the smell of the product and also that it didn’t seem harsh to use on the clothes and on my hands.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes. I liked the liquid stain remover. I’ve only ever used powders in the past and they’ve been quite harsh.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Rubbing the product on the stains worked really well. The curry stain didn’t come out of my white top first time round but it did on the second wash

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

I have used vanish before but I would definitely purchase this item again

  • Used to treat food stains inc tomato pasta sauce and hoi sin sauce, paint, mud and ink

-Fairly pleasant smell, worked well on most stains
-I would probably recommend it, it got most of the stains out
-I was using stain remover powder of a different brand previousl, the vanish was slightly more effective
  • I've used Vanish products in the past, usually only when they've been on offer. I would consider buying this again but probably only at an offer price

Thank you for letting me test this product.
What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Most types! I have DC aged 3 and 4 so most food ends up on clothes as well as pens, paint, mud and things I'm not even sure about!
What did you like most about the product?
I liked the consistency- just thick enough to pour and absorb well without getting everywhere. The cap of the bottle was great for working the product into the stain.
Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes. It worked well on every stain I tried it against and even brought the knees on DD's white tights up clean. Small amounts needed so price not bad in the long run.
Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
Much less faffing around than soaking or making pastes. Not as messy as using my usual spray which gets everywhere.
Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I have used vanish products before but none yet as good as this one. I'm not sure about other products but I will definately be buying this one in the future.

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Tomato, pepper, Poo, chocolate! Everything I could use it on, I did!

  • What did you like most about the product?

Had a light pleasant smell, good consistency and the textured lid was really handy to help get into the Tough stains!

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes I’d definatley recommend this to everyone and anyone! This gets rid of even ground in stains! Simple to use, minimal effort to get rid of stains, what’s not to love!

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

It got the stains out first time with very minimal effort! Very very impressed

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

Yes, first time using and I’m converted! All that time I’ve wasted over the years scrubbing stains unsuccessfully and ending up throwing things out! Recommended to all!

(This is an example of how good this is, this Top I had washed about 6 times previously with an unsuccessful tomato pasta stain removal! I rubbed in Vanish for around 1 min and threw it in a normal Wash cycle and came up Looking so much better!)

- What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Ketchup, Blackcurrant juice, Baked Bean Sauce, Grease, poo

- What did you like most about the product?

I like the smell and I like that it works!

- Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, because it works! It's a great product to have on hand when you have kids and when you have a partner who's work uniform gets mucky and stained.

- Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I did use the bar before but I don't like the way it feels and you have to work at it a lot and it also doesn't work as well. Using this product was more successful at actually getting rid of stains and preventing them.

- Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

It's not my first time using a vanish product but this one is better than what I've previously tried. I would now consider trying more of their products.

  1. felt pen, tomato sauce stains, general food stains
  2. I liked the fact it didn’t run everywhere (or get all over my hands when I poured it). It was pretty easy to use which was helpful!
  3. I would recommend because I was impressed with how well it worked. Previous products I’ve tried haven’t worked very well on tomato based products but this worked wonders.
  4. very easy to use. Normally I’d leave overnight in a sink or use other products that have several time consuming steps but this has cut down on time and effort for me.
  5. first time using Vanish for laundry, but I’ve tried the carpet cleaner before. Yes I’d consider using other products from the range now.

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove? Mud, paint, food

  • What did you like most about the product? It actually worked. After spending a lot of money on different products and not finding one that worked. My daughter's white school tops were terribly stained and I was about to throw them out for new ones. I gave this a try and although the stains are still slightly visible it has got most of the stain out.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? Yes. I would recommend this to anyone that gets regular stains in clothes either from children playing or a job that you are likely to get staining from.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? Was easy to use and less time consuming
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products? This is my first time trying vanish for clothes.

  • What did you like most about the product?

I usually use a powder, but I liked using a liquid straight into the drum.

I think it is as good as Oxy, which I normally use.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Everyday toddler grime, chocolate on white sheets (eating chocolate in bed with a cold is not slatternly, it’s healing)

  • What did you like most about the product?

Easy dosage, brand I know and trust.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes. But I’d always recommend Vanish. I love it! In this case, because it did exactly what it says on the tin. However I would like to s e a “small and mighty” style compact version to use less storage and less plastic. I’d also like to know how Vanish aids in recycling of their plastics.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Mad or easy. One stop shop.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

No, I’m a committed customer! (I have two sons and a cat - all filthy!) use their stain remover for clothes and also carpets.

The type of stain I used not to remove were baby food stains due to weaning mostly. I also used it to help clean pads for my steam cleaner.

It was easy to use, nothing complicated. Worked well.

I would recommend it to family/friends however would say due to price to keep it when really needed rather than add to each wash.

I have used the stain remover bars and some carpet products and will continue to purchase vanish products.

It helped with the stains. Prior to this I just threw washing in and hoped for the best!

Ketchup, chocolate, tomato soup, wee, poo, paint and pens.

It makes clothes smell lovely. They've come out really clean. Also, I was so excited to be chosen! Never been chosen for one of these before. So thanks for that. Grin

I'll definitely be recommending! It's so easy to use, and works amazingly. Great that it's gentle enough for babies too.

I've never bothered much before; I just stick clothes in with washing powder and fabric conditioner and hope for the best slattern. Using this, mine and DDs clothes look so much cleaner. I've bought the powder before, which I like. I definitely prefer this though, and will be buying it regularly.

I've used the vanish oxy white before and this product is so much better.
Some of the stains included baby sick and beetroot stains for a crisp like baby snack and it got the stains out perfectly !
Really easy and simple to use however to put in a regular wash you do need quite a large amount compared to the size of the bottle, I'd imagine this would get quite expensive as you'd get just shy of 10uses out of the bottle. Would be expensive if you get as many stains on clothes as I do ! I would definitely recommend this though for getting stains out and use when I have tough stains !

School uniform muck
  • What did you like most about the product? Effectiveness without pre-treat
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Absolutely. It’s baby-friendly so I didn’t worry about skin sensitivity and therefore didn’t have to treat the stains and then rewash. That’s pretty time-saving, especially with 4 kids and a builder husband.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Baby poo and baby vomit

  • What did you like most about the product?

Easy to use, I just poured a little on, rubbed it into the stain and then chucked it into the machine

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Definitely, this worked on dried stains too which usually need two washes and don't come out with just detergent. I normally use vanish but to have a non bio version that I know will be gentler for my child, no brainier, would recommend again and again

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Before I would use vanish powder on the stain, I would wet the stain and rub in vanish then into the wash. This liquid meant I did not have to wet the stain first.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

Not my first time, I have bought vanish before and repeatedly for their stain removal products.

Only further recommendation would be if the packaging could perhaps be a roller ball for easier use. Then one could roller the liquid straight on.
