Name changed to feedback, hope that's ok.

Set up took longer than I expected. I hadn't really considered the whole charging batteries taking a while, was expecting to get it out of the box and go.

To be honest, the first time I read the instructions I was overwhelmed and just put it away again, but when I read through again and followed them, it was pretty straightforward.

Experience of using has been ok. I have urge incontinence so only had to use every other day. I think I'd struggle with everyday as you are expected to stay in one position during the session and I don't have the time. Every other day has been a struggle tbh.

I've been using it for nearly 3 weeks (but have missed a few sessions Blush. Not sure if things have improved or not. Possibly, although I have spells when things are better anyway (possibly related to drinking less tea / coffee).

I wouldn't say my experience is negative but the process is more time consuming and intrusive into general life than I anticipated (plus I had to buy some new pants!).

But will be worth it if fixes problem, especially considering all the recent press on side effects from surgery women have had to resolve pelvic floor issues.

  1. How did you find the set up process?

I don't think I needed to charge it, it was already ok. Though I may have forgotten... it was a bit off putting, I was expecting something quite different. Having to measure my hips with a tape measure to know where to put the pads was a pain, especially as I am much bigger than the biggest measurement. However, I got the pads on, strapped myself in, and was ready for action.

  1. How have you found your experience of using INNOVO so far?

It's a faff, to be honest. I tend to forget to allow time in the morning, and it isn't something I'd want to do anywhere except the bedroom- it's not a good look! It feels fine to use- I do the alternate programme, and I do it everyday because I forget so often that still isn't regularly five times a week. It feels a little odd, having your muscles clench and release in waves, but not unpleasant.

  1. How long have you been using INNOVO?

I started pretty much right away when I received it. I've had a week off due to a family situation, and forgotten a couple of times.

  1. Have you noticed any improvements so far?

It's hard to say- quite possibly yes, but I'd need a bit longer to know.

  1. Do you have any other feedback to share at this stage?

Waves to testingonetwothree!

1. How did you find the set up process?
I was a bit intimidated at first as it all looked terribly complicated but there were great instructions in different mediums i.e. written and a few videos to watch.
I banished DH from the room while I put it on until I got the hang of it! Wink

2. How have you found your experience of using INNOVO so far?
It's very similar to using a TENS machine, so not pleasant but not painful, can definitely feel it having an effect.

3. How long have you been using INNOVO?
4 weeks

4. Have you noticed any improvements so far?
Possibly, but it may be wishful thinking as I can always have good days and bad days so it may be too soon to say for sure. Hmm

5. Do you have any other feedback to share at this stage?
I'm really impressed with the product so far. The initial cost may be off-putting but it can be paid over 6 months. if it stops embarrassing accidents in the future it would certainly be worth it! Grin

MrsSchadenfreude · 08/12/2017 20:53

How did you find the set up process?

It looked quite straightforward, but was a bit of a faff. The first thing I did was to charge the power supply thing. I had to get DH to help me strap the thing on initially (I am awkward), and it took longer than it should have done as I couldn't stop laughing when he was instructing me to "put one finger in the hole and the other in the slit". GrinGrinGrin Subsequently it was fine - I found it easiest to position the slit (Grin - sorry) under my bum, and once that was in the right place, then the rest just sort of followed naturally.

How have you found your experience of using INNOVO so far?

Fine - I have managed to get it up to 80, which makes my legs twitch a bit. It has also had an amazing effect on my arse, which is now like a rock.

How long have you been using INNOVO?

I think about 4 weeks. I was away for a few days, so started late.

Have you noticed any improvements so far?

Yes! I found from the outset that it was really working my pelvic floor muscles, and there was some improvement after a week. I've now managed to ditch the pantie liners completely, even having a cold - it is no longer "AAAAAATCHOOO - oh nooo." I've really found that I can clench my pelvic floor properly now.

Do you have any other feedback to share at this stage?

I think if you can whack up the pulses it can really help quite quickly, as you can feel it working. I also like the 30 minutes of doing nothing apart from lying on the bed with the minge-o-matic (as it has become known). I tend to do it when I get in from work and it's quite a good wind down time. As well as the rock hard arse, orgasms are better Blush. I'm going to keep on with it, in the hope that I can crack walnuts with my pelvic floor in due course.

latchkeyanddesperate · 09/12/2017 08:24

Wow, Mrs! That sounds fab!

I do P1 and P2 on alternate days.
I'm thinking of ditching the P2 setting. I don't like the tapping sensation, it doesn't go above 80, and I don't feel it does as much as P1. Or possibly, doing P1 as well on P2 days.

P1 feels much more intense.

What setting do you guys do?

latchkeyanddesperate · 09/12/2017 09:10

I had so much to say at the start, but have forgotten everything now!

After the first few attempts at getting the pads on, it became easier to just slap the first two pads on and just below my buttock, then wrap everything else into place. Once you know where they are going, the how of it becomes much more straight forward!

HuckfromScandal · 11/12/2017 10:42

Right, sorry I am late to the party

  1. How did you find the set up process?

So being lazy, I just watched the you tube video, and got on to with it. Was a little daffy, but not ,ore than 15 mins to get it ready to use.
First couple of days I didn’t quite get the things positioned right, but now I do, and it’s easy Peasy.
  1. How have you found your experience of using INNOVO so far?

I like it, I’ve managed to use it pretty much every day. I have missed a couple of days, but then did double sessions for a couple of days to “catch-up”.
I tend to put it on and get it up to 80,and then faff for five mins in the kitchen - getting a coffee or whatever and then lie down and let it do it’s magic. I find I need a few mins standing helps me whack up the power on it to 80,otherwise I do find it really can be painful.
  1. How long have you been using INNOVO?

Since 4 November
  1. Have you noticed any improvements so far?

Yep, I run everyday, and have noticed that I am definitely not needing a pad, however not brave enough to run without one, also have had the most awful flu and chest infection for the last 2weeks, and have rarely had an accident!!! This is astounding progress.
  1. Do you have any other feedback to share at this stage? Yep - it stopped working for a couple of days and Innovo were good at giving advice to resolve problem, although the email address they have on their website doesn’t work, so I had to contact mumsnet.
HuckfromScandal · 11/12/2017 11:42

Oh and yy to buns of steel and better orgasms!

christmasrage · 11/12/2017 22:34

I would like the pads to be stickier on the side which attaches to the fabric, and less sticky on the skin side. I find it a bit uncomfortable tearing them off, but I've got very fine skin.

latchkeyanddesperate · 12/12/2017 08:33

I'm impressed with how long the charge lasts.

MrsSchadenfreude · 12/12/2017 23:15

Out of interest, has anyone managed to get it beyond 80?

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 07:08

I'm on 84, I recline in bed and find that different positions give a different strength to the pulses. It feels a bit like contractions- I have to remember to relax the rest of me and breathe!

Does anyone look up their data at all? I haven't bothered.

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 07:09

I'm latchkeyanddesperate by the way. I'm struggling with my names at the moment!

HuckfromScandal · 13/12/2017 07:56

Data???
Where can we look up data?

I can get it up past 80 most days - but sometimes it’s too much. I think it’s depensent on how tired I am

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/12/2017 08:15

I did it on 85 last night, but it felt too much. I was phenomenally tired, though, following two days of exams.

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 11:54

The little box has uppy downy arrows and an i button. The book tells you what to do but I can't be arsed. I thought someone might tell me if it was worth the effort...

MissDemelzaCarne · 13/12/2017 19:04

Am experiencing a few problems.

Last night, for the first time I got an error message for pad 1and no matter how many times I turned it on and off and took the garment on and off I couldn't get it to work, getting an error message in the end. I gave up and went to sleep and tried again this morning.

The same problem continued so I contacted the helpline. The person on the other end was a man with strong French accent and I really struggled to understand him.

Before you write me off as a xenophobic idiot let me explain that I am hearing impaired so any additional difficulty in comprehension can be too much for me to cope with. When he asked me to put on the garment I said I'd call back (hoping his shift would be over).

I phoned back this event and got another Frenchman but with a weaker accent and I managed to follow him as he talked me through connecting it up again and it worked - for a while. Sad

When it stopped working again I phoned back and got a French woman (clearly the call centre must be in France) but no sooner had I started to explain when it started working again.

Five minutes later it stopped again and I called back, this time I got a woman who I could not understand at all, I explained I was deaf and she spoke louder before asking, kindly, if it was her accent and put me through to a colleague (with an Irish accent) she did the same check all the connections routine and it worked - for 1 minute.

I'll try once more later but then I don't know what to do? Confused Sad

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 19:30

Have you had a phone call from their marketing people yet? They have English accents! They have rung me twice, once at the beginning, and yesterday. They need to know about the accent issue and the problem.

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 19:31

I would think there is a loose wire in there somewhere. Have a look in the book for an email address to send the problem to.

MissDemelzaCarne · 13/12/2017 20:27

Thanks christmasrage
I had a missed call from 0117933... a Bristol number yesterday, I wonder if that was them?

I thought I'd give it one more go tonight then email them.

christmasrage · 13/12/2017 22:55

Quite likely.

Thought I’d have one more try tonight.

I did absolutely nothing differently to this afternoon /morning but it worked just fine, no error messages at all. What a relief! Smile

christmasrage · 14/12/2017 07:35

Ok, I looked up the data stuff... each time you press the i button you get a different datum. Once: current intensity. 2x:highest ever intensity (apparently I managed a 93 at some point, though I don't remember tha5!!). 3x: average intensity. 4x number of sessions, 5x hours spent in total. Disappointingly, I've only done 20 sessions. I knew I'd been patchy- was away for a week etc, but thought I'd done more than that. Oh well.

christmasrage · 14/12/2017 07:36

Oh, and I got a triangle ! Warning because the lead wasn't quite snug into the gadget.
