Simply Beef & Lamb have asked us to find 100 Mumsnetters to take part in the Love Lamb Week challenge and test out 1 of 5 lamb leg steak recipes with your loved one, be it a partner, a friend or a family member. If you are a UK MNer, we’d love you to take part, whether you’re a lamb lover or newbie to cooking.

Here’s what Simpy Beef & Lamb have to say about Love Lamb Week: “We’d like to give parents the confidence to cook with lamb midweek, using lamb leg steaks as an easy introduction. They are low fat, relatively low price and can be cooked in less than 30 minutes.”

With Love Lamb Week coming up on 1st - 7th September, it’s the perfect time to plan a date night with your partner, a much needed catch-up with a friend or even a relaxed night with a family member. So if you would like to either expand your love for lamb or simply try it for the first time, please sign up here. If selected you will be sent a lamb recipe and a £10 supermarket voucher to buy the ingredients and will be required to post your feedback on the meal on a dedicated thread on Mumsnet.

All selected testers who complete the feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list). As well as your feedback on the lamb dishes, we’d love to see pictures of your family meal so please do share images on the feedback thread. Tonight we are having very 'ordinary' roast lamb (half leg, discounted in Sainsbury's) with asparagus and dauphinoise potatoes. I will often rub ras-el-hanout into the lamb, or zatar or similar, but tonight I've just whacked it in the oven. Half an hour to go... YUM. So easy, so tasty.
