We’ve been asked by PitROK to find 250 Mumsnetters to test their natural deodorants. This product test is open to you if you’re pregnant or have a child under two and you have sensitive skin, have experienced underarm irritation or are interested in natural products.

Here’s what PitROK have to say: “It’s a sensitive time being a New Mum. It can bring wonders and joy; but also nagging questions about our child's environment and what’s good for our bodies. We spoke to 641 New Mums, and over 40% of them told us they had changed their Deodorant around this time. Mainly to stop the irritation some Antiperspirants can cause; but also to allow their bodies to perform more naturally. At PitROK we’ve been making naturally effective deodorant for over 20 years and many people swear by them. Please try our new Extra Sensitive deo - it’s been especially formulated by a Mum for New Mums.”

Selected testers will be sent a 100ml size of PitROK Extra Sensitive.

If you’re selected, you’ll need to give feedback on your first impressions on a feedback thread and then give your final feedback on the product on the feedback thread as well as filling out a short survey on your experience with the product. You’ll need to test the product as a part of your daily routine for between 3 weeks and a month to allow for the transition from antiperspirant to natural deodorant.

To sign up, please fill out this survey.

If you have any questions you’d like to ask PitROK about their products, feel free to use their Ask Alison feature.

All selected testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Boots voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

I'd like to try this, my DD is just under 2, I alternate between roll on and spray but I keep getting red irritated patches under my arms, urgh!

I've given up deodorant while pregnant sometimes as I don't know if it's good for the under arm glands but it is making me a bit stinky from time to time!

Flags up that those of us with older DCs would also be interested in trying such natural products hmm.

This has really tickled me... We have all experienced that 2 year milestone, the cut off between worrying about chemicals and 'fuck it lets have a day out at Sellafield' grin
