I tested the 50L liners
Q1: They looked durable but wasn't to sure on the design of them
Q2: my usual bin liners usually tear while been taken from the bin but the ones I tested I have had no problems with them
Q3: They are very strong and durable, they are the strongest ones I've used.
Q4: yes I would consider buying these if they were at the right price
Q5: To be honest I probably wouldn't purchase them off the internet it would be easier if they were available in supermarkets
Q6: Yes I would recommend these bin liners purely on how durable they are.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners? Overall I was really impressed with these. I particularly love that they come in a box so they don't fall out of the cupboard and unravel across the floor!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them? I usually buy cheap bin liners but it shows tbh. I get frustrated by them leaking in the bottom of the bin and then the bag dripping when it's emptied. These are a million times better than my usual ones, I'll be buying decent ones from now on.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? The strongest I've tried by far.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? I'd definitely consider buying these if they were a price I could afford.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? Definitely if it worked out cheaper.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? I'd definitely recommend these bin liners, they're really strong, great quality and they separate easily from the roll.

Q1. Nicely packaged, the dispenser box is a nice touch. The bag quality is apparent immediately. The fit in my bin wasn't great, I had difficulty stretching the top of the bag around the rim - its a 30litre bin. Lovely to lift the bag out and KNOW its not going to split or leak.

2, I hate bins, I hate touching bins and I hate liners that rip, which most do so in that respect visqueen were a breath of fresh air in comparison

  1. Much much better quality

4.price dependent very likely

5, unlikely, I pick up liners when I remember it when we run out at the supermarket

  1. Absolutely because of ease of use and quality of product

Hiya, tested the 50L
Q1: very good, strong and sturdy
Q2: generally satisfied with my in liners but OH has a tendency to stuff the bin (lazy and doesn't want to empty it) and when that happens I get quite frustrated. These coped with even that very well.
Q3: very strong. Stronger than others.
Q4: I would consider buying these they were on offer. Price is probably a bit high for regular purchase.
Q5: would purchase from Amazon.
Q6: Yes I would recommend these bin liners.

Q1- Overall impressions are good. I like that they come in a box - it keeps them neat in the cupboard.
Q2- I'm usually pretty satisfied with the bin liners I buy, however there are times when we just seem to try too much into the bin before changing it and at that point they can tear.
Q3 - I really rate the strength of these bin liners. I'm not worried that they are going to split when I'm taking them out of the bin, and they were easy to put in (50L).
Q4 - I would consider buying these liners. I hate buying cheap bin liners as they split so easily.
Q5 - I normally do all my shopping for things like this in the supermarket so it's unlikely I'd buy them on the internet.
Q6- Yes I would recommend them.

They looked super tough!
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
I get quite frustrated when emptying the bin & the liner rips dumping juice pulp all over the floor! Mine are cheapo ones though.
How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
So much better, mine are rubbish!
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They're the best, no contest!
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Quite likely.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family?
If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes absolutely! They're fantastic!

The first thing I noticed was the packaging which looked a bit cluttered and an odd colour for bin bags. The bags were awkward to remove from the box and I nearly ripped the first one. It is just as well the bags are strong as it just stretched a bit without tearing. The neck of the bags was quite narrow even for swing bin liners, which made it hard to do things like empty waste paper baskets into them. I took them to MIL’s house as we are doing a big Marie Kondo inspired clear out. Here I was really impressed. Even fully loaded with random cables, old newspapers and decaying books, the bags did not rip. We have had quite a few problems caused by rupturing bin bags recently and these were great.

The white colour also made it easy for suspicious MIL to delve around in them to make sure that I had not thrown out anything precious (like 10 year old newspapers or old socks).

The filled bags stood up well in a nice neat row, rather than slumping down in a sad shiny black heap which made for an encouraging indication of our progress. All in all these are of very good quality and I will probably buy the larger sized refuse sacks in future.

50l bags

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

My husband summed them up as, 'too nice to put rubbish in'

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I find that typical bin liners are easy to tear these were a lot better

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Definitely stronger

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Maybe, they seem a big extravagant, and make me feel more wasteful as I'm throwing something more substantial away

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Maybe, they are heavy so I'd worry about postage costs

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes- they're good quality

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I love them, not a single tear all week. And the handles are strong. I don't use a bin I hang the liners on a door handle. They would usually tear long before the bag was full.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I usually use supermarket own, brabantia or a carrier bag. These were much better, no leaks and no tearing.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Much stronger, and I really tested them, I used one to do a post winter garden tidy and there were no rips even with rose clippings in there.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I would if they were slightly more expensive but not if the difference was significant.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Yes, I often go on amazon to get some of my cleaning supplies in bulk-every 6 months or so.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why

Yes I would recommend them, nobody likes the world seeing their Rubbish when the bag tears on the way to the wheely bin!

Q1. Good quality, thick.
Q2. I'm generally satisfied with the liners I usually buy, and have never had a bag rip or split on me, although the Visqueen bags are stronger.
Q3. They're definitely stronger, but perhaps it is unnecessarily strong for the average bagful of rubbish we collect in our 50l kitchen bin.
Q4. I would if they were as cheap as those I usually buy (10 for £1).
Q5. I wouldn't specifically order bin liners online. They're so easy to pick up in the £1 shop or supermarket.
Q6. Possibly, if they were complaining that regular bin liners were not strong enough for their needs.

30litre

  1. Liked the idea of them coming in a box, until I tried to gef a liner off the roll. This proved awkward and I actually ripped a liner because it didn't tear along the perforations.

Fitted my bin well (30l Brabantia).
Fine in use and seems strong enough.
Husband empties the bins and he liked the coloured tie handle - said it was easier to find than that on our regular liners.

Q2. So far they are comparable to my normal liners in use

Q3. They appear to be stronger than our regular brand although not really put to the test. They are certainly stronger than ones we have tried in the past.

Q4. They are more expensive than my regular brand so I wouldn't change over completely. I might buy them if on offer or if I couldn't get my usual ones or if I wanted stronger bags for any reason.

Q5. I dont think I would get them from amazon; not somewhere I would normally consider going to for household consumables.

Q6. Yes

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Very good. I tested the 50L bags and was very impressed with them.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I am generally frustrated with the bin liners we usually buy. I normally buy shops' own brand liners (for economy) but they invariably tear if filled anything close to full.
Visqueen have been excellent - not one has split so far, despite being filled almost to capacity in an attempt to do so!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Visqueen is in a league of its own for strength, from my experience. It is simply much tougher than the rest.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I would definitely buy Visqueen again. I don't know what they retail for, but I would pay more for them because they are so much better.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I would be less likely to buy them online than during a weekly shop at a supermarket, just because this is the most convenient way for me to buy them and remember I need to restock! I also wouldn't want to spend extra for postage.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend Visqueen, purely for their remarkable strength compared to the rest.

I tested the 30ltr.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Good quality and strong - the ties were good and didn't break. Well packaged.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

The ones we normally use are terrible - though they tend to be value ones which explains why. These were much stronger and the ties especially were good because they didn't snap (which always seems to be the case with other brands).

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

10/10 for strength.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Very likely, depending on price.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I would purchase them via Amazon.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes - they are good quality and make one household chore slightly easier.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners? Very strong - didn't quite fit my bin properly as ours has a large rectangular top.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them? Frustrated as our usual ones often tear when lifting out of the bin. Visqueen liners hold together when lifting out of the bin and easily close.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? Much stronger. USed one purely for changing the cat's litter tray and held a bag full of litter with no worrying give.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? If the price was right, we'd buy them.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? Have Prime so, again, as long as the price was right it would be great - very convenient!

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, as they are the strongest bin liners we've found s far.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Nicely packaged, clearly of a good strong quality

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I usually find bin bags rip easily and so I'm a bit nervous about using them for kitchen waste.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Very very strong - I was impressed and must confess that I deliberately tried to overload the bags to see at what point they would rip - they didn't!

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Very!

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

50l bags
Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Visibly stronger than other bags. Box was a little 'busy' in design and slight struggle getting them out of this , overall very good impression, superior Bin bag
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
Very frustrated with current selection of bin bags, stretching and tearing, many spills on the floor.
How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Extremely durable, noticeably superior to other bags. Good tie handle
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Far better. Robust could have taken more than we actually filled it up to. You didn't get the feeling that you were racing along with it because it may break at any time
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Very likely to use these
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Would prefer in supermarket, so can get along with regular shop, that said could purchase in bulk, dependent of shipping costs
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yeah!! Definitely , my mum is always moaning about her broken bin bags and birds ripping them open so easily.... These won't get pecked open!!!!

I tested the 50l version.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I really liked them. They're strong and fit the bin really well. You don't get the overhang of bag that can sometimes prevent the lid from shutting.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Yes, they often tear around the top when pulling them out of the bin. Bisque not are stronger and pull out of the bin easily.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

They're stronger and tear from the roll more easily.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Likely if the price was right.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I'd rather they were in store but wouldn't mind online as long as delivery was free.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

If they were cheap enough. I don't think £8.46 is low enough tbh as the ones I currently get from Lidl are under £2 and the difference in strength isn't enough to justify the price leap.

I tested the 30ml bags.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I was impressed with them. They are strong. They fit my bin perfectly with no folding over and bunching. Most of all I was impressed that they do not leak!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I usually buy from Costco in bulk. They are very thin compared to visqueen and they leak and tear when you pull them out of the bin. Leaks and tears annoy me most and the visqueen bags have so far not done either so I'm pleased with them.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

I would say they're the strongest I've ever used.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I'd definitely buy them if they appeared in my supermarket. I'd like them to come in bigger rolls (more than 40) though.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I'm not sure I would buy them online mainly because I'm never in when the postman comes and I'd have to collect them from the sorting office, or try to track them down from yodel. I would definitely buy them from the supermarket though, or somewhere like Robert Dyas/B&Q.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I don't often talk about bin liners to friends and family but I would recommend them. I really have been impressed with them.

I tried the 30L bin liners.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
They looks super strong and I like that they come with a proper dispenser, rather than having to rattle around in the back of the cupboard. Wasn't sure about the printing around the sides though.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

They're generally ok, but do seem to rip when the bin gets really full. Not a single rip here all week, even when we've massively overstuffed the kitchen bin (because no one ever wants to admit it's full and actually empty it!)

Biggest problem is that although my I have a Brabantia 30L bin, the liners are a tiny bit too narrow to fit easily around the bin. So although these liners are nicer, stronger and generally better in every way than my normal supermarket brand ones, sadly I can't swap to these :(

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Great - see above! Didn't rip even with totally over full bins

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I'd definitely buy these again if they fit my bins.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

If they're available with free postage or on Prime then I'd consider it, otherwise it would be a faff and additional cost.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I can definitely imagine recommending them if it came up...in fact, I've already "lent" a few to my dm and a friend who both have the tall narrow type of bins that I think these bags were designed for. DM says she's very impressed :)

Q2. Generally ok, have a few bad batches that rip and leak. These are much better than other ones I have used - a vast improvement

Q3. A lot stronger.

Q4. Would def want to use and would buy loads if on special offer somewhere! But a bit expensive for us

We have a v small bin that we empty v regularly so always looking for small capacity but strong liners. Visqueen 30L are definitely good size and strgon, but the top was a bit narrow to fit over my bin.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much stronger. Like ab lack refuse sack but minus the chemical smell.

I was invited to test the 50 litre bin liners. Totally transformed my sad little life. I love this product. Came in a very handy box which allows easy access to the product. As soon as you tear off the first bag you can feel the quality. These are the best liners that I have ever used. Normal liners are too thin and flimsy and often rip. Not these babies. I would whole heartedly recommend this product. It takes a lot to impress me, but these have. I'd love to buy them in future and I've found them on Amazon for £8.46 for a pack of 40. They work out about 22p per bag, which is a little expensive. I might put them on a price watch and see if the price drops as I would definitely buy them if they were just a little bit cheaper. I would buy online, but think to appeal to most they should be sold in the supermarket and there may be more chance of getting them on special offer then too. I'm definitely going to keep my eye on them. Try them - you won't be disappointed.
