If you're hoping to spruce up your home in time for the festive period, Valspar is looking for 150 Mumsnetters to test their 2.5L Premium Walls & Ceilings Paint.

Here's what they say, "Often it's hard to keep your home spick and span with little ones running around, especially when hosting a large family at Christmas time, but the Valspar Premium Walls & Ceilings Paint is set to stand the test of time with its maximum durability credentials. Our easy to clean premium paint includes a super-scrub formula and undergoes vigorous scrub testing to ensure the paint won't fade or chip off when cleaned, making it durable for your family home. This high quality paint allows walls to be wiped down and scrubbed clean once the festivities come to an end, without compromising on colour.

"As well as being available in a variety of finishes, including matt, mid-sheen and gloss, the Valspar unique colour matching technology can replicate any colour the eye can see - that's 2.2 million shades! Choose a colour that's personal to you and your family - be it the shade of a festive Christmas bauble, or a favourite ornament, simply take the item to your local B&Q and its exact colour can be scanned and recreated in paint form."

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters who would like to add a splash of colour to their homes. Mumsnetters must be available to trial the product and give their feedback by the end of November.

Selected testers will be sent a voucher for Valspar Premium Walls & Ceilings Paint and a Harris roller and tray set and a Harris brush by 15th November. Testers will be required to use the product to paint a room or a feature wall in their home and provide their feedback on a feedback thread on Mumsnet and complete a short feedback survey. Testers will also be asked to share pictures of their completed room transformations by the end of November.

Everyone who gives feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

If you're interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks

Please choose me, our living room paint is wearing thin from all the scrubbing and really needs redoing!

We moved house just before our baby was born. Now she's a few months old, we want to make the house a home and make our mark.

I'd love to have a gorgeously decorated living room before the Christmas period begins!

Will it include bathroom paint?
I only bought the paint for the spare room last night too!!!
Has gone on a dream with just one coat needed.

Signed up - We are doing the kids rooms this month and had a joiner hard at work for the past couple of days constructing made to measure units for their new attic bedrooms so this would be a perfect opportunity to test out the paint

Is it too late? I am about to revamp living room and having a quandary about which paint to go for. I would be delighted to try out Valspar and report back. The washable part would particularly attract me , as living room is a corridor to other rooms in the house and gets a lot of traffic, especially against one wall.Smile

Part of my job is to sell and mix valspar paint.... Am I still eligible ( not employed by valspar)

I know quite a lot about it but not used much in my own home

I've applied anyway but didn't want to appear cheeky!

I'm all signed up for this one, with 6 kids running about and loads more for xmas, my hall could do with tough, scrubbable paint! Sounds perfect.

squirrels you can have any colour, not just the valspar colour chips

If anyone wants the farrow and ball colours then I'd advise ordering a colour chart now from f&b website..... Then you can take it with you if you want a colour from it colour matched into the valspar base

Good point, MumOn. I knew you could get any colour matched, but for some reason I had not matched this information to the F&B option. Genius! Thanks.
