Ambrosia say; "our mini pots of custard or rice have calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. Were you sent rice pudding or custard and how old is the child(ren) who you tried them with? I got rice pudding. The children who trialled them are 5 & 3.
Overall, did you enjoy the Ambrosia mini pots you received? Did your child(ren)? We all very much enjoyed them, especially the DC 
Would you buy any of the mini pots again? I would definitely buy the rice pudding again & would try the custard.

How did you serve the mini pots (on their own or with something else)? Sometimes on their own or sometimes with raspberries/strawberries mixed in, or a dollop of jam.
When would you / your family be most likely to eat the mini pots? Packed lunch or after tea
Would you include a mini pot in your child’s lunchbox or on a picnic? Yes definitely
Would you say that the mini pots are good value for money? (Each pack of 6 has a recommended retail price of £1.49) They are on the dear side (considering that the yoghurts I buy are 45p for 6) but they seem more substantial, so they are OK value for money.

We were sent custard and my girls are 4 & 10.

Yes, the kids and I all liked them. We are fans of custard anyway but tend to buy tins. It was great to have them as an alternative that was as easily transportable as yoghurt.
Would you buy any of the mini pots again?
Yes, definitely. The fact you don't have to refrigerate them makes them really good to have in the cupboard as a fallback pudding.

Yes, and in fact I already have

Both! We had them over freshly cooked cupcakes as a faux steamed pudding, with fresh & tinned fruit, and on their own both at home and on the road.
When would you / your family be most likely to eat the mini pots? Would you include a mini pot in your child’s lunchbox or on a picnic?
We would eat them anytime as a treat, as an alternative to yoghurts especially at times, like picnics & for bocs bwyd, where not needing to be refrigerated is a real plus.
Would you say that the mini pots are good value for money?
Reasonable. I normally pay £1 for six yoghurts, so they are broadly comparable but slightly more expensive.
The only 'constructive criticism' I could give is that the shape of the pots were quite tall and narrow for toddler spoons / clumsy kids. My four year old can demolish a yoghurt on her own but needed help to 'get the bottom out' of the custard pots. I would love to see the custard in the plastic tubes... That would be the perfect blend of problem free storage and edibility!!

I love them! As a matter of fact I've just eaten two before logging on to here! They are delicious. DH, DD2 and I are fans. DD1 (fussy) prefers her custard hot. If I was a nicer mummy I could heat them for her in a bowl.

Yes, definitely. They are just the right size for a pudding for little children. They don't need refrigerating so are perfect for taking lunch out.

It didn't occur to me to do anything other than eat them We have 8 left so I'll try to be more creative with them. Either over some swiss roll or maybe mixed with some stewed fruit.

As a simple pudding or as part of a packed lunch.

DS did. I've not tried them (mainly because I love rice pudding and those tiny pots are not nearly enough for me!)
DS said they were really yum and could only be improved by "having bits in". He enjoys the bigger pots of rice pudding with fruit at the bottom, so this is what he means by bits! Although he did also suggest that they'd be improved by the addition of chocolate chips

Yes, I've bought the custard in the past and I'd definitely buy both varieties again.

Yes, especially to friends with younger children as I think they are the ideal toddler size

DS has had them in his lunchbox. I think they are perfect for this, being small and portable and able to be served at room temperature. He's rejected yoghurt before as it gets warm by lunchtime.
I also like that they have a long shelf life so I can keep them in the cupboard.

See above. I'd definitely also consider for a picnic or day out

On a price per 100g basis, they are probably not as good value as a big tin but for convenience sake they are worth it, although I usually wait until they are on special offer for £1 as they seem to be fairly frequently

They went down brilliantly here. I tried one (or two) and enjoyed them too.

Yes, DD can be really funny about food but loved these.

They are comparable to yoghurts etc. I will buy them when on offer and stock up as it's not a lot of food for the money. Ocado have 'buy 2 get 1 free' on them at the mo so have ordered a fair few!

Both- they were handy on their own in packed lunches and as a quick snack. We also tried them with dried fruit and bananas.
