Ambrosia are looking for 100 Mumsnetters to become "Ambrosia Taste Team Testers". Earlier this year the nation's favourite custard and rice pudding brand Ambrosia, launched a mini pots range specially formulated for children. Each Ambrosia Taste Team Tester will receive 30 mini pots of custard or rice, (you can pick which one you want to receive when you apply) to try with their children (aged 3 to 7 years old), and to give to friends to test out too!

Ambrosia say; "our mini pots of custard or rice have calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. We believe our mini pots are perfect for small appetites. They contain no preservatives or artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, but are full of dairy goodness. They have a long life and don't need to be chilled, so they are perfect for stocking up on reserve and for use out and about too. They are a perfect pudding solution that children will love!"

For all ingredients please see here

Each pack of 6 has a recommended retail price of £1.49.

Ambrosia Taste Team Testers need to be UK Mumsnetters* with at least one child aged 3 to 7 years old. If you meet these criteria and would like to take part, please submit your details using the following link, by no later than Monday 6th October 2014 at 10am - sign up here.

Each eligible Mumsnetter may only submit their details once**

All selected Ambrosia Taste Team Testers who provide feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one Ambrosia Taste Team Tester will be selected at random to win an £100 voucher for John Lewis. See prize draw T&Cs here

note...
50 Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will be selected at random* from applicants who select to receive the mini pot rice pudding and 50 Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will be selected at random from the applicants who select to receive the mini pot custard. Mumsnet will email confirmation to the selected Ambrosia Taste Team Testers and will pass on their names and addresses to Premier Foods Group Limited, who will dispatch the product. Mumsnet will also email a link to the feedback thread once the Ambrosia Taste Team Testers have received the product. Applicants who are not selected to be Ambrosia Taste Team Testers will not receive the product. Mumsnet’s decision as to the eligibility to enter and the result of this Promotion is final.

Thanks and good luck!

Hmm. DS1 aged 4 and pudding do go hand in hand. I can't see any downside to this one.

However, looking at the not for under 3's disclaimer, I am intrigued to find out if my 20 month old would explode either literally (messy) or figuratively (noisy and stressful) when he's told he can't have one too. I'm not entirely sure which would be worse...

Not wanting to offer bribes or anything but if selected DD will probably be so happy she'd send sweeties...

Please note that mini pots are not formulated for use with children under 3

Why? Just being noisy as DS is 6 but this seems a bit weird! Are all Ambrosia products not suitable for the under 3s or is it just the mini pots?

MNHQ, there isn't an option for 0-6 month old! Obviously they won't be trying the custard/rice pudding, but it does ask for the ages of all children...

Spirael - will check
And will check on the under 3 thing

Done - although I can imagine that custard-loving ds (9) wouldn't be too impressed at not being allowed to join dd1 and dd2 as they tuck in either!

Hmm, I wonder why two pots is a portion? Could they be trying to make their calcium/bit d %ages look higher?

My DSes aged 5 & 3 would love these! They both love rice pudding & custard & I try to make it healthy by adding a portion of fruit to it Smile The pots sound like they'd be the ideal size, too, as if I open a tin of custard or rice pudding it risks being forgotten in the fridge as they only get through part of a tin at one time.

Mmmm... Rice pudding. Yes please. I promise to share with the dc.

DS loves puddings. Maybe this would encourage some fruit eating. DS 2 isn't so into sweet stuff but likes an individual portion of most things.

Do I have to give them to friends? My 4 and 6 yo could eat their body weight in custard and rice pudding every night. They won't give it away to their mates without a fight :)
