My hair type is quite thin and flyaway. It's wavy (kinda frizzy) and dry.

Currently my hair is worn in a long bob. I have full head of highlights and am quite blond - but naturally I am light brown.

My hair, especially at the front, has become noticeable thinner since having kinds (8 years). It has become much dryer and frizzier too. I guess my life is more stressful now as I have 2 kids, one of which has ASD and I work full time. Money is tight and there's a lot more to consider and remember on a daily basis.

I only wash my hair once a week (gross I know). This is because I was worried about how my hair is thinning. as my hair is dry it doesn't get or look greasy, and if it does I'll use dry shampoo. I use a hot brush to style my hair, and occasionally use strengtheners or curling tongs. I wear my hair tied back most of the time.

i have tried Rapidlash previously and did notice a slight change, however at around 40 I couldn't afford to replace it.

hello.

My hair is fine and straight -although not dead straight- it has an annoying wave at the bottom.

My style is long - just below shoulder length. No colours or highlights. just plain old boring hair.

Having 3 children has affected my hair, loads of it fell out, and I grew a new 'baby fringe' after having each baby - in the corners of where my fringe would be it started new growth which then flipped out like horns at it grew longer. urgh!

Most days I use a dryer, and also use straighteners or tongs maybe 4 times a week. I am conscious of using tools so if I can leave my hair to dry naturally I will but then I look even worse than usual.

I have not tried any other rapid products. I hadn't heard of them before.

My first impression was that it was a small bottle for a lot of money. It goes on to my scalp well - I have only been using two squirts as that's all it recommends but I think I need more really. it doesn't leave behind any smells or residue.

~ What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)
My hair is wavy. I don't think it is thin or flyaway and it definitely not that very thick type, so I guess it is inbetween.

~ What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.)
My current hairstyle is shoulder length, a graduated chin length bob that has grown out. I coloured my hair - pink often - for many years, but it has been uncoloured for the past 8 years.

~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?
I don't think it is thinner - though I do feel that quite a bit drops out when I brush or wash it. It feels drab though, not bouncy or resilient. Countless headlice treatments and a lack of time spent in washing it and not doing any treatments (used to love deep oil treatments) have taken their toll. My diet is better now than it used to be and that may be a saving grace.

~ Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.)
I never use these. For me those things, such as crimping irons and curlers, are things I used circa 1975 and never since!

~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)
Never have done.

~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?
I though - what a small bottle, will it really last long enough. I thought - hmmmh, so few instructions. What is the theory behind this - I am fascinated by the science of nanotech and always intrigued when this is mentioned - I will have to check out the website to find out more, or to find out if this is mythic science. I wondered about the concept of the appearance of more length - is that possible and I wondered about what the value of 'volume' is. My sense is that the product is meant to make us look like Kate Middleton - not who I usually channel. Anyhow, am happy to be giving it a go.

What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)

Very fine and straight, prone to greasiness

~ What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.)

Medium, shoulder length and undyed.

~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?

Having kids seems to have thinned out my hair quite drastically. I lose ever so much hair on a daily basis.

~ Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.)

Nope, too much effort with a little one underfoot.

~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)

No.

~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?

What a lot of money for such little product!

~ What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)
I have very thick coarse hair. It's been highlighted since I was 19 when I first discovered my first grey hair... and I'm now nearly 50 Shock

~ What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.)
Its a long bob length. No fringe, and highlighted.

~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?
I still have very thick hair, but since having children, its become very coarse.

~ Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.)
I usually leave it to dry by itself.

~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)
No I haven't, but if this works, then I'd been keen to try others.

~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?
It looked very small for the price tag, but am expecting great things! The instructions were a little vague, but the product goes on very easily and leaves no residue at all.

My hair is thin and dry.
It's short although recent events have made going to hairdresser impossible so it's actually probably classed as medium now.
My hair appears thinner now. We've had a lot of stress recently, due to my DP's ill health and my hair has suffered for it.
I dry my hair using a hair dryer then finish it off with the Babyliss Big hair.
I haven't used any of the products previously.
First impressions are that it seems to make my hair very dull. I don't get much coverage with two pumps of the product. I'm fascinated to see whether it works eventually.

What is your hair type - thin and curly.

Hair style - medium length with long layers.

Has it got thinner in the last 10-15 years? What life events have affected it - yes it's got a lot thinner in the last 10 years, it used to be thick and curly but dry. Life events have definitely had a noticeable effect. Having children made it much thinner but it started thinning when I was still at school use to bullying and the stress it caused. I've had a lot of stress the last few years due to bereavement.

Do you use heat styling - very occasionally if we're going out an my hair is not behaving.

Have you tried any other Rapid products - no I'd never heard of it before.

First impressions - I only got it today so haven't used it yet but it looks very small especially for nearly £70. If I saw it in the shop there's no way I would buy it to try unless it came highly recommended by a friend.

Straight. Lank.
~ What is your hairstyle?
Long and coloured.
~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?
It's definitely got less life/bounce/substance. I think it's just ageing!
~ Do you regularly use heat styling products?
No, hardly ever. I drip dry.
~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)
No, never heard of them before this.
~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?
Initially reactions were that the canister is very small, as is the amount to apply per day - exacerbated by the fact it's a foam, so it seems quite nothingy. There is no scent. I've used it for 3 nights now, and I can't see that's its done anything at all yet. It doesn't feel bad or unpleasant though; just nothingy.

~ What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)
very thin, fine and straight

~ What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.) dyed blonde, shoulder length, no layers

~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?
Much thinner and finer than it used to be - after each child I had severe post partum hair loss, and after my 3rd my hair just hasn't really come back. I still have the broken baby hair fringe and my hair breaks much more easily than pre-pregnancy.

~ Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.) Once a week I blow dry my hair, on special occasions I use straighteners - maybe once a month

~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield) No

~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?
Really small bottle. Seventy quid? SEVENTY QUID? It would have to produce a miracle or have extremely good reviews for me to fork out that amount. The instructions are vague and unhelpful - and 2 pumps seems like a miniscule amount and doesn't cover my whole scalp. That's what I'm sticking to though or there is no way that tiny bottle will last for 60 days. I'm struggling to see how it could have any effect to be honest, but I will give it a fair go. On the upside it does smell nice and doesn't seem to dull my hair or make it greasy. Perhaps because I'm putting so little on. Tonight is my third night, and so far, so nothing.

I really want it to work!

I have fine, wavy, shoulder length dark brown hair, which has thinned substantially since I passed the age of 21 Wink I have a pretty healthy diet but arguably don't eat as much protein as I should. Supplement with a multi vitamin and mineral daily tablet. I would say for the past couple of years my hair has got too thin to wear down (although I do a mean updo!).

I use GHDs and a dryer pretty much daily, and have never tried any Rapid products before.

First impressions? Absolutely no way I would have forked out the RRP for it. It is however easy to apply and leaves no residue on the hair. Agree the application instructions are not very clear. Here's hoping for hair growth miracles!

i have fine hair, currently in a shoulder length bob. it is naturally blonde(now white) and seems to thinning especially at the front, probably down to menopause, which i most noticeable in the summer. I wash it every second day and condition and use an oil. i use hairdryer or babyliss big hair and straighteners on the second day.
i am coeliac and am currently anaemic.
My first impression was shock that such a lttle bottle was so expensive. i expected the pump to produce more foam. i struggled to get it to cover my scalp and will be shocked if it lasts the full 60 days.i too found the instructions vague, so i hope im doing it right.4th night tonight, still waiting to look like rapunzel.

What is your hair type?

Thin, fine and straight, quite brittle

What is your hair style?

Medium length, straight, coloured (home dye)

Does your hair appear to have got thinner?

Yes, very much so. In my youth I had really thick shiny hair and now it is full and thin and brittle. I have had 3 children in the past 5 years(!!) which I imagine has added some hormonal activities aswell as stress. I have suffered depression around 7 years ago and have moved house a number of times in 10 years. I do feel anxious quite a lot of the time which I imagine would effect my hair. It falls out a lot.

Do you regularly use styling products?

I use the hair dryer every time I wash my hair (every other day) but not often the straighteners unless it's a special occasion (mainly because I don't get away with 2nd day hair after using straighteners!)

Have I tried rapid products before?

No, wish I had! Could really do with some rapidbrow, sounds amazing!

What is your overall impression?

Was very excited! Bottle seems small for the money but if it lasts 2 months and does what it says i reckon it's prices accordingly! Packaging was pleasant enough, pump easy to use, directions were questionable which is fine but I think if you are spending this kind of money on a product you want to know you are following the directions to the T to get the best results to save disappointment at the end! So yeah, I think more clarity on wet/dry, 1/2 pumps, on hand then hair or direct to hair, washed/unwashed, day/night etc would be beneficial for the user.

I have an unruly mop of curly hair, currently really in need of a cut so more of a mop than usual. It is pretty short but long for me and is coloured with temporary colour to hide the grey. Pregnancies have taken their toll on my hair and it hasn't bounced back since having my son so I have resorted to styling it more than I like. This means it has had too much action with the GHD's that is good for it and my curls have taken a hammering. I am lucky that I don't have to wash it more than 2/3 times a week so I was worried this product might mean I have to do it every day but so far so good and it hasn't meant that. I use a hairdryer most times I wash it and GHD's now and then. My hair is already dry and it doesn't like this but hey - it looks rubbish otherwise. So shut up hair.
I have not knowingly tried any other Rapid products but maybe someone has unknowingly beautified me whilst I wasn't looking.
First impression - 2 pumps directly onto your scalp seems a bit silly - hardly any comes out so how can that then be massaged into your whole scalp? So far I haven't found a way. If I paid full price I think this would have annoyed me from the off. You need more than 2 squirts to do your whole scalp but I am sticking with 2 because it was free and I must comply with the rules.

When the product arrived I was feeling pretty miserable with my hair. My hairdresser couldn't fit me in for a week and I had let it go to the point of scaring small children with it. So maybe I was just desperate, but I honestly thought it made an immediate difference. It seemed silkier and less dry and lifeless. But I am a sucker for an expensive product so maybe I am just seduced by its high price tag. We shall see. So far so good.

What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)

  • My hair is naturally slightly wavey. Over the years it lost most of its curls, so a weird in-between type now. Most of the time I now blow dry / straighten it.

What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.)

  • Shoulder length hair with longish layers that I am gradually growing out. I also have old highlights mixed with more recent lowlights as I am giving "going grey gradually" a go. A long, side fringe.

Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?

  • Yes. I used to have really thick and bouncy hair, whereas now I need to take more care with styling to get body and reduce frizz. After the birth of my second son I lost a lot of hair on a daily basis. Just over a year later and it's stabilised, but left me with thinner looking hair.

Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.)

*Yes, I use hair dryer every day. I use straighteners about twice a week.

Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)

    *No

What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?

*The outside packaging is fine - it looks like it could be a serious product. However, the grey plastic bottle and pump look cheap and not like something containing a high end product. I like the logo and writing though.

*Also, and I appreciate that this is probably one of the reasons for the trial, but the "clinical study of 52 subjects" only would normally put me off buying such an expensive product. It's such a small group to base the study on.

*The smell and feel of the product is fine. I am having trouble with only 2 pumps covering my scalp. I'm sticking to recommended amount, but I don't think it is enough for my hair.

Hair type - fine, thin, flyaway hair, dry at ends

Hair style - shoulder length hair with a fring and permanent colour to hide those grey hairs

Lifestyle - my hubby first noticed me for my glossy shiny voluminous hair, that was 10 years ago. Now since I having a baby, I had a lot of hair loss too. Now it seems thinner, dull and more flyaway. The key word is lacklustre!

Heat styling products - only a hairdryer

Rapid products tried before - zero

First impressions - has a hefty price tag, so have high expectations. Like other comments, the bottle looks vheap and curious to see if will last 60 days. The instructions are sparse. I was expecting a liquid or help, but comes out as a mousse. I find 2 pumps only covers part of my scalp, not even half. So am intrigued how it will perform. Once applied, I do feel a little tingle for a minute or two, so hope this means it is working. To get my hair back to what it was, would be my ideal.

What is your hair type?
Straight; dry at ends; not sleek and glossy; comes out a lot!

~ What is your hair style?
Shoulder length; coloured

~ Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?

Definitely. Never used to use products to make it sleek and glossy before.
Had a severe amount of recent stress, plus not eating or sleeping well. Hair, like my skin looks tired.

~ Do you regularly use heat styling products
For my sins, yes! I blow dry it every other day. Hair straighteners are also used

~ Have you previously tried any other Rapid products?
Tried a cheaper version of Rapid lash I'm afraid!

~ What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?
Packaging is fine -middle of the road - not trying to hard to be a sexy beauty product, almost more of a tool or aid.
The grey bottle looks quite cheap.
Like others I was expecting more about how to use - but simplicity is good too! However, I really don't see how you can get two pumps of it successfully massaged all over your scalp. It felt like I was only covering two patches and that it was getting attached to my hair in general before I could get to the scalp.. A suggestion of how to apply or what areas of the scalp to go for first would be helpful.
Great that it doesn't smell.
After the first day my hair felt softer and generally nicer - no idea why -I was using my usual shampoos etc...so fingers crossed it's already doing something.

What is your hair type? (thin, fine, course, wavy, straight etc.)

  • Straight and fine, with a slight wave. Over the years, as it has become thinner and more brittle, I can now 'scrunch' in a wave as it dries.

What is your hair style? (short, medium, long, coloured, highlighted etc.)

  • Shoulder length, semi-permanent salon-coloured (every 5-6 weeks) with a central parting and a fringe. Almost completely white/grey under the colour [hmm[

Does your hair appear to have got thinner in the last 5-10 years? What life events have affected your hair and how?

  • My hair used to be very thick - since the menopause a huge amount seems to have fallen out. It is also very brittle and dry. For the last 6 months I've had to use intensive moisturising products, including a 'repair masque' which I now use daily as a conditioner, otherwise I can't even get a wide-toothed afro-comb through it without breaking and pulling out vast quantities of hair.

Do you regularly use heat styling products (e.g. dryers, curling tongs, straighteners etc.)

*No. I very occasionally blow dry my hair upside down to add volume.

Have you previously tried any other Rapid products? (RapidLash, RapidBrow, RapidShield)

    *No

What was your overall first impression of the RapidHair product?

*I will start using it this evening. Not sure there will be enough to last 60 days.
