We're looking for 100 Mumsnetters to try the new Skin Therapy Oil- Rosehip from Palmer's.

Here's what Palmer's say about the product: "Our new Skin Therapy Oil with Rosehip fragrance is non-greasy, non-staining and preservative-free. This light-weight 'dry' oil is ideal for daily moisturisation of the body and face and helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, dry and damaged skin and uneven skin tone. Blended with carefully selected botanical oils such as Rosehip, Sesame and Canola Oils together with pure Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E, Skin Therapy Oil is an all in one skincare solution."

Those selected will each be sent a 60ml pump bottle of the Skin Therapy Oil - Rosehip (RRP £5.99). You'll then need to try it out for 2 weeks or so and add your feedback to a feedback thread on Mumsnet.

Oooo i've had a surprise bottle in the post (didn't get an e-mail either). Needed a little pick-me-up, looking forward to trying it :-)

i noticed it says rosehip fragrance- so has it actually got rosehip in it or is that just the smell?

absorbs really well though, im having a growth spurt and my bumps suddenly getting big and my skin feels all stretched n tight- so im curious as to whether it helps, ive been using it 2-3 times a day. ive been using it on a couple scars i have too to see if it does anything, although they are couple years old now so im skeptical bout that.

I noticed that too honey It says Rosa Canina Seed Extract on the ingredients so I googled it and found this

Im not sure how much is in the Palmers stuff though!

it must be a measurable amount surely, as notice the bit it says about its absorption... drinking in oil already in pores.... and this absorbs really well so i wonder if its the active ingredient. does have a nice smell...
i like that it doesnt stay oily for long, like bio oil. oil that stays on my skin for too long makes me itch abit and feels icky x

It is very like Bio oil in texture now you come to mention it but smells much less granny

i think that although you can use it on dry skin, id advise against using it on eczema... i have dry eczema on the top of my bump and i put a little bit on-out of curiosity- it helped the dry skin but aggravated the itching... i suspect this is to do with the perfume in it xwink
