We've been asked by the folks at Method to find 1,000 Mumsnetters to try out their Laundry Liquid 25 Wash Pump.

Method says: "This innovative liquid is changing the way people do laundry, with a sleek little bottle and a patent-pending, plant-based, hypoallergenic formula we call smartclean technology®. it delivers big cleaning power with just a few squirts, with a 35% smaller carbon footprint than conventional liquid and a lightweight pump bottle that's designed for easy, one-handed use. It's a lean, mean, stain-fighting machine!"

Please see here for more info.

Selected testers will be sent the product to try at home and will then need to add their feedback to a thread on MN (you will be emailed a link to this).

We're looking for a range of testers for this - it's open to all UK MNers with at least one child.

All testers who add feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £250 Love2Shop voucher as a thank you.

If you're interested and around over the next 2-3 weeks to take part please add your details here.

Thanks and good luck

I would usually jump at something like this, but TBH, I have bought this. It smells nice. But it really doesn't work very well.

I have to keep it for only slightly dirty loads now. I won't be buying it again. It does smell really lovely though.

I do like method have a row of colourful bottles next to the sink!
Haven't yet tried the laundry products yet though.

MagiMingeWassailsAgain Mon 12-Nov-12 10:21:03

I like the orange surface spray cleaner, it smells gorgeous and works well. I was really disappointed with the laundry liquid but will stop going on about it now grin

I am willing to give this a go and have filled in the survey. I need to find a detergent that doesn't make DS itch but also cleans the clothes. Have yet to find one I am completely happy with.

Sparklingbrook Mon 12-Nov-12 10:31:29

I am having a go because I want to see what it smells like and if it can do football kits. But I never get picked anyway. grin

DilysPrice Mon 12-Nov-12 16:09:39

Sparkling they're looking for 1,000 MNers to test it shock. Even you can't be too unlucky to be picked for this one.

But don't get your hopes up for winning the vouchers on the feedback thread.

I'd like to try! have done the survey. I LOVE things that smell nice, especially laundry and I've been tempted by method products for a while now.

shelley72 Mon 12-Nov-12 16:15:11

have done the survey. i like the look of method products but wonder if they actually work, or just look and smell pretty? hope i get the chance to find out!

RandallPinkFloyd Mon 12-Nov-12 16:23:02

Well yet again I've given it a whirl.

I sign up for every one of these bloody things and all I've ever tested was the shit Tesco washing powder that stained all DS's clothes and a tube of arse cream! (Although the arse cream was excellent and I have carried on buying it)

brighthair Mon 12-Nov-12 16:27:21

Damn I really wanted to try this but have no child sad
I have a horse <hopeful> so plenty of mud to test on grin

alemci Mon 12-Nov-12 16:27:31

have had a go. I like their products and they smell nice. The bathroom cleaner is lovely and the furniture polish.

Kveta Mon 12-Nov-12 17:03:20

I have never heard of Method, would like to try it out though! wonder how effective it is on bfed baby poo? <eyes exploding baby and laundry pile wearily>

TheProvincialLady Mon 12-Nov-12 17:05:20

I wish I had been selected for arse creamsad

Sparklingbrook Mon 12-Nov-12 17:05:45

I bet I don't get to try Dilys. grin I've probably got the wrong age DC or live in the wrong place or something. Ecover didn't want me to test their wipes and i am still smarting.

KVeta the Method stuff smells fab. smile So even if the poo stains don't wash out they will smell nice. <hopeful>

Sparklingbrook Mon 12-Nov-12 17:06:29

Why do you have to have DC to test it anyway? confused

DilysPrice Mon 12-Nov-12 17:14:31

The Ecover wipes were a bit rubbish Sparkling, you missed nowt.
But the thing is, if you try some wipes and they're not great then you just scrub a bit harder or spray some Flash on it. If your laundry liquid is rubbish then you have to run the washing machine for another hour to do it again, which is an actual PITA.

brighthair Mon 12-Nov-12 17:40:26

Sparkling - I did wonder that. I have enough sweaty mud horse crap covered clothes on my own without having a DC grin

InMySpareTime Mon 12-Nov-12 17:43:21

Done. If it can clean DS's rugby kit it can do anything!

Sparklingbrook Mon 12-Nov-12 17:48:12

Exactly bright. Bit horseist if you ask me. sad

InMy what do you use to get mud stains out? Both DSs play football and I think the mud has changed lately. It doesn't want to come out...

InMySpareTime Mon 12-Nov-12 17:49:24

Currently chuck the kit straight in a bucket with some "wizz" oxy stuff, or scrub with green soap before washing.

maybeyoushoulddrive Mon 12-Nov-12 17:52:12

Done, would be nice to find non-itch washing stuff!

CelineMcBean Mon 12-Nov-12 18:01:34

If it can do washable nappies I will recommend... but I am sceptical it will cope.
