We have yet another lovely new product test for you - this time it's cheese from Cathedral City. On 1 August they are launching their new 100% real Cheddar kids snacking range called Chedds and want to give MNers the chance to be one of the first to try it. They say: "Chedds is available in three fun formats: Cheese and Toasties - mini slices of real Cheddar and melba toast, Nibbles - a mini bag of bite sized Cheddar cubes that kids will love to share and Bricks - mini blocks of Cheddar that are perfect for kids on the go."

We're looking for 50 testers who....

~ Live or can get the cheese delivered within the M25 next Tuesday or Wednesday - you can choose the day of delivery. The reason for this is obviously because the cheese is a chilled item and deliveries will be sent by courier so they don't get too hot. You can get the product delivered to a workplace (with fridge) if this helps.

~ Ideally have a child aged between approx. 6-10 (we can have some flexibility on this)

If selected, you will get samples of each product. All we ask is that your child(ren) and if possible you, try the Chedds and add your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet - we'll be looking for your views on the product in general and how your child feels about the product and the packaging as well as the taste.

Everyone who is selected and who adds their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £100 Space NK voucher

If you're able and willing please add your details here

Thanks and good luck

I've got a few folks applying whose delivery address is - as far as I can tell - not within the M25 motorway area - please do only apply if you can accept a delivery if you are within this area. It's just for the delivery as the cheese is chilled and they want to ensure you get it at its freshest

thanks.

Hmm I wonder how much chance I'll have with my preschooler cheeseaholic? We already spend a small fortune on the stuff for him and every morning we have cheese pieces or cheese sarnis in the car on the way to nursery! Any new thing which is cheese-flavoured is good news. (He loathes cheese strings, which is kind of funny.)

moonbells, mine are exactly the same! Absolute cheese-hounds except for the string cheese. What is with that?

does that mean the Chedds will only be available for sale in supermarkets within the M25? if not does that mean if I buy it from a supermarket elsewhere it will be less than fresh?

AtYourCervix - no they will be available everywhere, it's just for this product test they are being sent out from a London office and, as stated, they want to ensure folks taking part received it as fresh as possible which wouldn't really be possible if they sent it direct from London to say Manchester....hope folks understand.
