Just booked tickets for this. Due to go on dds 3rd birthday. Didn't really think it through at the time but now am wondering if she will be too young. Anyone been, what did you make of it?

Any comments much appreciated, wouldn't care so much if it wasn't on her actual birthday but it is, so want her to enjoy it.Smile

We went to see Disney on ice last year, when DD was 3.5 years. She was amazed by it all and loved the whole show from start to finish. So much so we have booked tickets to see the Princess one later this year.

We went to Disney on Ice last Xmas at the NEC. Ds (then nearly 5) loved it but got bored in the last long number lilo and stitch as he didn;t know the characters. Dd (2.5) was fine until the start of the 2nd half when they whacked the lights down and let off a load of fireworks - she went ballistic as she hates that kind of thing. So keep your dd on your lap if she's a little jumpy. They loved it as a whole though, talked about it for ages afterwards.

Warning - the merchandise is really pricey. We took in our own drinks and sweets, and even our own glow in the dark waving things :)

Thanks for this, I had no idea it was Princesses this year! Looks like the Orinoco family will be heading down to the Nottingham Ice Arena in September.....

We were at the princess one when my dd just turned 3. It was on in Glasgow end of last year. Prices for merchandise were awful programmes alone were £8.But what i will say is my little one really loved it,most especially the 2nd half as whole cinderella story, but she got little scared of witches and bad ladies in the likes of the snow white story. But all in all she really loved it and is still talking about it 6 months later.
