We're very happy that Justin Fletcher is joining us again for a live webchat on Friday lunchtime between 12 and 1 pm. Justin needs no introduction to mumsnetters, who enjoyed a fab webchat with Mr Tumble back in April. Justin is here in his role as a Patron of Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK who have been supported by Cadbury since 2009. This year through the launch of Wishes Cadbury will donate 10% of all profits from the product to Make-A-Wish. Put the date in your diary for Friday midday and if you can't make it, post a question in advance to this thread.

Hello, we saw you at Camp Bestival this summer - we were there at the bandstand on the Friday. When the whole crowd started singing the hello song it almost made me cry (pregnant hormones and all that)

Did you enjoy it? We loved it.

Hello

we were at Camp Bestival too - the dds were thrilled to see you - at the bandstand, meet you in the Little Big Top, and see you on the main stage (they are a little obsessed Grin)

I don't have a question as yet (will put thinking cap on) but wanted to say thank you very much for the new series of Something Special - they have been very well received in this house!

(are you going to be at Camp Bestival again next year )

NO question, just thank you for "normalising" makaton.

DS2 had no language at 2, v little at 2.5 and thru using makaton he suddenly found a way to speak! At the time people looked at us as if we were bonkers (although we are a bit!) but now its so normal an the school have integrated the symbols to make things a bit easier for him and children like him :) He is now 5 and coping ok in mainstream school with a fantastic teacher holding our hand thru the diagnostic stages of ASD.

Hello Justin , big fans here too,, thanks for your shows

Often find it hard to picture childrens TV presenters living a normal adult life outside work and guess you have to conduct yourself appropriately at all times to avoid bad publicity

That said have you had your Cbeebies Xmas staff party and who got the most drunk Chris or Pui ?

Can't get enough of us eh Justin?
My daughter's getting a bit old for CBeebies now (sadly - I quite miss it). But we have set Gigglebiz Christmas Special to record - it's a favourite!

Hi Justin. We heard great reviews of when you performed at Wychwood last summer. Are you returning to this year's festival?

I don't have a question really but my 3yr old dd would like to say thank you for helping her to communicate with her 60yr old aunt who has quite complex problems. She is adoring being able to talk to her niece. It's a pleasure to see them chatting.

Oh and Cliff Tumble? Bravo.

Hi Justin, I want to say a BIG thankyou for bringing sign language to more children, my ds is 14 and is profoundly deaf and autistic, he adores watching Something Special and even more Gigglebiz, he loves telling me the jokes and his favourite character is Major Boogie. My question is what inspired you to learn sign language? (I am one mum who is very glad you did learn!!)

Hi Justin

DS sends a big hug we are big fans in this house !!.

Would you to do a big show or a tour. Also love to see Nana Knickerbocker in Panto.

Saw you are starring as John Jester in Reading this Year with Jane from Rainbow !

My question how is the Panto going and are people shouting Mr.Tumble at you.

p.s can you wave (online of course) to my son ?

Hello Justin.

Frenzied clapping at the comic genuis that is "Farmer Dung". Has me roaring. Spent much time in Devon?

Anyway, question: are you aware that you have been the subject of some filthy discussions on Mumsnet and in every gathering of Mums-of-toddlers sooner or later - how does it feel to be a sex symbol? Are you nervous in large groups of mummies? Xmas Grin. I would be.

Ps, I asked DD (4) what she'd like to ask you and she says "why are you so funny?". Deep.

Justin I think you rock! We love you in this house, all my children have watched your programmes from being small. I especially love Higgledy House.

My DS2 who is 5 and has autism learnt a few makaton signs beore he learnt to talk and we still use some of them when he is having a bad day.

Any thoughts about bringing out a dvd for adults/children to learn some makaton?

SCREAM! I LOVE Justin!!

I posted last time about how adored you are in our house Justin, but I just wanted to ask if you can please let us know of any live dates you might be doing next year - festivals or any tour plans - as we're SO THERE.

Also, my 5 yr old daughter wants to ask how you manage to speak in so many different voices in Gigglebiz (I think she's only recently clocked that all the characters are you!)

Oh and thanks again for all the laughs you give my children and me - the best sound in the world is my son's chuckle and he falls about laughing at Gigglebiz, especially at Dina Lady! Smile

Reinstating myself from a self-imposed flounce ban to ask the lovely Justin a question.

DS3 (who is 2) LOVES LOVES LOVES you. He is a huge fan of GIgglebiz but even more so of Something Special. He has been known to wake at 6 in the morning with the words 'I want Cool Tumble now, Mummy'.

So, on behalf of DS3, via DS2 (aged 5):
'Why do Queen Tumble and Julio Tumble not visit Mr Tumble like Cliff and Cool do?'

And from me (one question per person, yes???:)):

In GIgglebiz, there are many subtle nods to comics of yesteryear e.g the Morecambe and Wise cooking sketch, The Two Ronnies doing the news, etc. Were these conscious allusions to these classic comedy moments or did they develop during the production process?

Oh, and as other posters have asked, are you doing an live performances soon? We I would love to see you live.
