The worst cases of oversharing you’ve seen on social media (lighthearted)

In my case a friend of mine took a picture of a bunch of tissues on her bedside table and posted it onto FB with the caption ‘The sign of a good night. I’m shagged’.

Also on Facebook - guy posts a picture of his back, covers in scratches with the caption ‘no wonder she’s pregnant’

Oh god! Nothing as bad as that. 🤢

I hate people posting pictures of their feet. I really don’t need to see people’s gnarly toes!

My sil posts pictures of her in her undies in bed next to my bil.

No amount of brain bleach can get rid of that image. Sil posts pics of herself in her undies everyday. Every. Day.

She has a lovely body, however i dont really want to see it. I even less want to see them semi naked in bed. I normally have her on a rolling "hide" cycle.

Someone I went to school with literally lived her divorce out through Facebook status updates. Several a day. I haven't seen her in 20-odd years but I know it aaaaaalllll. She even found out he was cheating on her through Facebook. Now she is re-married and they can't watch telly together without it's a status update with pictures.

Friend who insisted on sharing budoir shots she'd had done every day. For months.
Then when pregnant from when it was announced to birth, posted 48 times on Facebook about being pregnant in some form. Be it photos, announcements of feeling sick, cravings, it was relentless.

About 2 days after Christmas, screenshots a friend posted of a conversation between my friends fiancee and a cam girl he'd been paying to basically show him her bum hole . My friend was posting all the fucking shit, and bastard name calls about finding out ( she had recently birthed their daughter )
They are still together and we have to act like we've forgottenConfused

The feet pictures I don’t understand at all. I mean why would anyone want to see your foot?

Someone I know is pregnant now (due September so still ages to go) and everything she posts now references it and she posts A LOT! She’s going to be exhausting for the next several months.

I know it’s not probably what you are asking for but it’s really f*cking tedious...photos of food. I have a friend who posts photos of their dinner most nights. Why but why would you do this???

I have a friend whose dinners are a constant feature on fb. I just thank my lucky stars that they haven't been able to go on any of their frequent and much photographed holidays over the last year. Pic of suitcase being packed, anyone?!

I have a friend who was like this, she had baby just over a year ago. Would be ok, but she now posts the same posts as "Facebook memories" every day! So we had 9 months, and then we had the 9 months again ConfusedGrin

Nothing as bad as some of these, but I really don’t need blow by blow accounts of your child’s potty training progress (including a photo of a poo on one memorable occasion).

@ALevelhelp

Oh cringe!!!

I think there are like 4 photos of my bump on Facebook from DD2 (born September last year) and they were taken on days out so are there by accident, not me posting them. She’s already posted more photos of her ‘bump’ than I did in the whole 40 weeks.

I have a girl on facebook who breaks up with the father of her children regularly.

her latest status about him was to claim that she never really loved him anyway, fancied his brother more and accused him of shagging his sister behind her back.

amazing.

One of my FB friends is an extreme (as in follow-him-around-the-country) Marti Pellow fan. He posts something on his FB page and she replies like it's a personal chat. I can't count the number of selfies she's posted with him. So cringe.
