can anyone give this sweet little girl a new home?

She has been living in our wood store for the last few weeks and for the last two we have been leaving food out. We put details up on local facebook pages, leaflet dropped and put posters up in local shop etc. No-one came forward so I took her to local vet and had her scanned for a chip. Nothing there and the vet told me she has a cigarette burn on her neck Angry

she is beautiful, friendly and sweet- a fluffy tabby with the foxiest brush of a tail. Vet reckons she is around eight months old

we cannot keep her as our boy is an only cat and detests all other cats. He will go walkabout if she stays as he's done that to previous owners. She is very sweet with him and is well socialised

I live just outside Durham- please pm me if you can help

thank you

I'm a bit too far away, but it's very nice of you to try to rehome her. Can you post a picture or two of her? That may help get her adopted.

Oh she's so lush! I'm in Devon sadly so way too far away otherwise I'd have her. Good luck with finding her a home OP, I hope she gets the love and cuddles she deserves with someone.

What a gorgeous girl! Would absolutely take her except that I'm at the other end of the country and not in the position to commit to a pet right now Sad (fat load of help I am I know)

I hope she finds her forever home soon x

Oh she is beautiful, I'm local to you but I can't take on another cat. Wish I could. Surely she will find a home soon.

We also have an only cat who doesn't like company but I really hope someone can take her.

I have messaged dh about her, just in case he is feeling weak.

She looks so much like my big cat. Do you know how she is with dogs?

I don't know how she is with dogs, sorry. She likes our boy v much but he is nearly keeling over with the stress of her being here. I wish we could keep her but our priority needs to be him.
She sleeps on the pillow next to me all night and chirrups good morning when I get up. Little sweetheart

When I think of the bastards that must have held her down and stubbed a fag out on her neck AngryAngry. ...I would cheerfully do the same to them

Gatekeeper I know what you mean about anger about mistreatment - it makes you want to smack them.

I'd love to have an update on her :)

Has she found a home yet op? I can't believe anyone would do such a heartless cruel thing to her either! Sad Angry

Oh she's gorgeous. We are actually thinking about getting another cat. Durham is a bit far but my friend passes that way a bit so not out of the question

I've got two other cats - both toms. The oldest is 17 and very very soft and friendly. The younger one is 6. He's a bit of a bastard but that's mainly towards dogs and humans (except my daughter). He's actually quite nice to other cats - just a bit playful.

I’m in Scotland or I’d have her straight away. My cats would be fine.

The tortie terrorists wouldn't approve.
And the wolfhound would be WTF?! (She gets tormented enough as it is. See above!)
Bumping for you.
