The living room door and squeezy bottles that make fart noises.
Try and find anything more terrifying! Bet you can't wink

MovingtoParadise Thu 27-Apr-17 19:31:42

Plastic bags or any plastic like bike covers/car covers flapping in the wind

She saw one down a side street yesterday and took exception to it, proper woofed at it.

samatamfabahaba Thu 27-Apr-17 19:31:59

Bing bags being put in the bin
Take away menus
The washing line extender pole thing

Supersmith Thu 27-Apr-17 19:36:54

His own shadow.
Carrier bags being blown about by the wind.
Open bottles, if we show him an open bottle (even an empty one) he'll bark at it.

LumelaMme Thu 27-Apr-17 19:37:51

Fluffy dogs. He was stared at by a collie once, and ran off crying into the bushes. Wimp.

Mumteedum Thu 27-Apr-17 19:38:23

Quiz show buzzers, TV doorbells that do a long riiiiiiiing and steam train whistles

blueskyinmarch Thu 27-Apr-17 19:39:24

Young lads on skateboards.

Plastic flapping in the wind.

MinisWin Thu 27-Apr-17 19:39:27

Cardboard boxes. Bloody terrified of them. Which didn't work out too well for him when we moved house recently...

Avocuddle Thu 27-Apr-17 19:39:29

Oh I forgot! The BBC news theme tune is also v v frightening. ITV or Channel 4 is fine though

witchofzog Thu 27-Apr-17 19:39:34

Black bags too. And spiders. I was gutted when I found that out. There was me quivering on a chair and mutt face is shaking and trying to get on the chair with me confused

FizzyMakeFeelNice Thu 27-Apr-17 19:40:16

The colander confused

Pallisers Thu 27-Apr-17 19:40:57

the hoover
when I sneeze
The basket where we store his toys

The day the electrician tested the smoke alarms, I thought I'd have to give him (the dog that is) a stiff drink.

labradottie Thu 27-Apr-17 19:41:37

Snowmen and stone statutes of humanlike figures - barks and barks!

theotherendofthesockportal Thu 27-Apr-17 19:41:41

The ironing board! He growls at it when we fold it down

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter Thu 27-Apr-17 19:42:10

The hoover and the washing machine on spin. They both go running to the basket with tail between legs. Despite both items being moderately quiet.

nobodysbabynow Thu 27-Apr-17 19:43:39

Raw eggs, jelly, any food that wobbles.

Ftumch Thu 27-Apr-17 19:44:36

Hi viz, aerosols, caterpillars, brass bands.

skyzumarubble Thu 27-Apr-17 19:45:36

Anyone in a hat
Supermarket delivery vans - could be any of them, Tesco, Ocado, Sainsbury's but he goes ballistic.

picklemepopcorn Thu 27-Apr-17 19:49:47

Anything with a wire and plug,
The soda stream machine and bottle
Reflected lights on the wall
Me making goldfish mouths
Bowls, cups, glasses
the downstairs loo door opening, because once upon a time we had a too big lampshade which made a small bang. We replaced it for a non banging one two years ago, but you never know...

I could go on... All night....

ClemDanfango Thu 27-Apr-17 19:51:58

This thread reminds me of the YouTube dog that's afraid of Julia Roberts.

rogl Thu 27-Apr-17 19:55:58

The ironing board and his own shit..

Haffdonga Thu 27-Apr-17 19:56:47

Champagne corks popping (fair enough) but now also champagne bottles, champagne glasses and the cupboard that they live in.

Smoke alarms (fair enough) but now also anything that bleeps, ds frying bacon and dh cooking anything. hmm

han01uk Thu 27-Apr-17 19:58:12

Cats! Petrified!
And balloons...

1nsanityscatching Thu 27-Apr-17 20:00:03

Feet in black socks but only if you are walking he's not bothered if you are still.
Long sleeves if they cover your hands.
Oranges and lemons, a fruit bowl on the table keeps him off it.
Black labradors,I assume that is because one of his first experiences as a puppy at the vets was a black labrador giving him the sloppiest of kisses.

babyinarms Thu 27-Apr-17 20:00:32

The hoover
Larger dogs
The vet
The groomer
The plumber
Wheelie bins
Push chairs
