This really gets my goat and I probably need to chill the fuck out but I find it so annoying!

Someone will post an AIBU e.g.
DD (9) has done X,Y & Z, I think she is old enough to know better DH disagrees and she is just a kid still WIBU?

Followed by a flood of posters - How old is DD? What age is your daughter? etc....

Sometimes the answer to the question is in the thread title FGS [facepalm]

Some threads are long, I get that but at least read the blinking OP before responding! AIBU and this is something I shouldn't care about?

OP posts:
arbrighton · 27/04/2017 12:20

Not U, but can't actually make other people do anything about it!

Does my head in too!

BeeFarseer · 27/04/2017 12:23

How long have you kept a goat? What's getting it? If things are after your livestock, you need better fencing.

BeeFarseer · 27/04/2017 12:23

HairsprayBabe · 27/04/2017 12:24

Bee Grin goat is 87 months and lives free range I don't believe in restricting movement, it is tantamount to goat abuse imo

OP posts:
C0untDucku1a · 27/04/2017 12:26

How old is the goat op?

Ginslinger · 27/04/2017 12:28

so you have a goat that's supplied by the government and you can't be bothered to keep it tethered. Won't anyone think of the grass?

Vroomster · 27/04/2017 12:30

Why has your DD not learnt the rest of the alphabet? And how old is she?

SumThucker · 27/04/2017 12:31

Why do you allow it to affect your goat? Hmm

HairsprayBabe · 27/04/2017 12:32

DD is 9 or 108 months. She did A - W last year.

Goat needs freedom, my goat my rulz hun.

OP posts:
LoveMyLittleSuperhero · 27/04/2017 12:33

Is there any reason you started at the end of the alphabet with your DD?
resists making joke about 2 kids

ymmv · 27/04/2017 12:33

I haven't read the thread but really feel like I should mention the goat.

redexpat · 27/04/2017 12:36

I never understood why teachers would stress through gritted teeth "read the exam question properly" until i read so many mn threads.

InfiniteSheldon · 27/04/2017 12:37

Yabu you should be heating your fuck outs. If you chill them it is very damaging for the environment are you a climate change denier by any chance?

FadedRed · 27/04/2017 12:37

Have you thought about cancelling the cheque, Op?

ThisAintALoveSong · 27/04/2017 12:37

This whole thread is funny! Grin

Yes OP it is annoying when people don't read the post properly.

Goat is 7 and quater and has no name! Shock

Can you help me whittle my list down as we have been stuck at 7 names for a long time and can't quite settle!

Seraphina
Clarence
Yggdrasil
Faith-Beau-Mae
Ollyvia
Rain
Sue

Needs to go with a 5 syllable surname and DD (9) has a top 100 name.

OP posts:
SumThucker · 27/04/2017 12:39

How do you pronounce Sue?

HairsprayBabe · 27/04/2017 12:40

The "Su" is silent.

OP posts:
isittheholidaysyet · 27/04/2017 12:43

I know absolutely nothing about goats.
We once saw one in a farm park.

I think that makes me qualified to comment.

YANBU

(you guys always make me chuckle)

GnusSitOnCanoes · 27/04/2017 12:45

Is the goat on glue?

SumThucker · 27/04/2017 12:45

I'm voting for Yggdrasil. You'd always have to tell people how to pronounce Sue.

Do you often disagree with your DH? Does he overrule you all the time or is it his mother? LTB and go to Maui.

Or insert other me-rail of choice here Grin

Ginslinger · 27/04/2017 12:53

have you logged it with 101?

TheWeevilincidentof2009 · 27/04/2017 12:54

YANBU. Anyway, enough about you.

I'll tell you what gets my goat: people addressing previous poster with an @ before their name. It's MumsNet not Twitter!!!
