Remind me again why it would be unreasonable to ban a fully function adult from touching the curtains?

It's a bendy pole. They do not need to be vigourously yanked with vigourously vigour to the ends of the pole.

If you do that then the poor smuck that closes them has to stand on the settee to put them back in the original place so they can open and shut with just a swish.

I don't see how it can be unreasonable to get a megaphone and scream

STOP FUCKING UP THE CURTAINS YOU BIG EVIL CURTAIN ANNHILATING BASTARD.

And yes this is the absolute most important thing I have to worry about. All other worries are mere vexations in comparison to this Angry

I get roller blind rage. Is it really so difficult to use the chain thing? If you keep pulling the bottom of the blind, it won't go back up (like the last 2) Angry

I post in AIBU. Do I get flamed? No. Do I get told I'm unreasonable? No. What do I get?

Curtain puns.

I can't visualise what you are saying - any chance of a diagram? Just draw the curtains ...?

If he's been fiddling with your curtains but the pole is bendy after you've been playing with it vigorously either make him see his GP or LTB.

We have a Roman Blind inn the spare room (where OH sleeps when he's working nights)..I have replaced all the strings and bought a special cord lock.

But he still cant pull them up and look...well how they should..not once in 6 years...

I decided not to risk it with DS and have ordered a new fandangled chain pull track

It's quite clearly a hanging offence.
