... to come out with this little gem:

"If you're happy and you know it, can you really show it?"

Ds, 5, announced "words don't exist. Once you've said them no one can prove they were ever there" <deep>

LoopyLoopsWoopDeWoops Sat 03-Dec-11 20:42:39

Oh wow. That is deep. smile

Cother - unless they had a dictaphone! <shallow>

Dirtydishesmakemesad Sat 03-Dec-11 20:46:54

My dd said at about 3.5 "are we all little people in someones playset".

Shes 7 now and has never uttered anything else so deep grin

LoopyLoopsWoopDeWoops Sat 03-Dec-11 20:52:16

That is brilliant. Are we? Does anyone have the answer to that?

Lynli Sat 03-Dec-11 20:55:59

My DS age 2 said " Do you know if you climb one step, you can climb every step in the world?"

Minshu Sat 03-Dec-11 21:00:38

My 2yo DD said (while poking herself in each eye) "I got two eyes. Where the other one gone?"

Should I be worried yet, or just keep quiet?

LoopyLoopsWoopDeWoops Sat 03-Dec-11 21:19:12

Lynli* - do you think he might become a motivational coach or something perhaps? grin

Umm, Minshu, I don't know what to say!

My dd, just about 4, said tonight "if you have too much wine it can't stay in & it all spills out". She has a point.

Love these. I thought my DD 2yo said, "I'm just a number" today. Turned out it was "I just remembered".
Not so deep after all. smile

Lynli that's fantastic, what a clever ds!

My elder son has clearly styled his hair according to the Play People catalogue and us v v happy with the result. His claim is that he'll find friends the world over.

My 2 year old used to do anything from a big poo in the potty, to utter a few words, to eat all his dinner.

I would say to him "you are amazing"

His response "I am not amazing, I'm Jack"

so cute!

My dd2 who is 5 was pulling her big sister by the cardigan earlier tonight.
Dd1 said "dd2 stop pulling me!"
dd2 replied "actually its not me that's pulling its you that is moving!"
got to give her that one! smile

confusedpixie Sat 03-Dec-11 21:51:16

curly: I love that!

Lynli's DS wins the prize, for sure.

Dh- feeling philosophical -once asked ds1 (about 2yo at the time) where he had come from. Ds replied 'ASDA'.

cheekeyiownitmonkey Sat 03-Dec-11 22:35:19

My 2 year old DD once announced that she had good news and bad news. The bad news was that she had broken her wax crayon she was using, the good news was that she now had two!

cheekeyiownitmonkey Sat 03-Dec-11 22:36:37

Same DD once announced that she again had good news and bad news. The good news being that she had found the missing piece from one of her toys...the bad news being that she hadn't found it yesterday.

StealthPolarBear Sat 03-Dec-11 22:38:38

PMSL at these. Not deep, but DS when butt naked once told me "I am dressed in myself"

TheMitfordsMaid Sat 03-Dec-11 22:42:06

My 4 year old asked me where the first people came from and how did they get made, if they were first, in a variation of the chicken and egg scenario.

I sent him down the road to talk to the vicar.

When she was 5 my dd said "I just feel so lucky that I exist. And to think that without the bomb, we wouldn't exist".

She meant Big Bang.
