Trading in a much-loved Nipper for a P&T E3 - would you do it??

I've got a fantastically brilliant Out n About Nipper which I love, and which my DTs (7mo) love. Thing is, it doesn't fit through our front door and I always have to take a wheel off in order to get it inside. This wasn't so annoying when the girls were newborns but as they are packing a stone each now, it's getting a little irritating to say the least. We have considered moving the front door away from the offending radiator that stops it opening fully, and taking the radiator off the wall, but both of these are fairly expensive options and will make the front of our house look dodgy to non-twins folk.

This evening (Eureka!) I realised that we could actually get another pushchair that would solve this problem, and I'm quite keen on the Phil & Ted's E3 with a doubles kit.

Do any of you use the P&T with twins? Are there huge arguments over who sits where and...most importantly...do your babies fall asleep in both seats? (At the mo, the Nipper is where the girls take at least one nap a day!)

All comments / thoughts / advice welcome. x

Meant to say P&T Sport with doubles kit - not e3 (as that won't fit through the door either!!)...

I have the E3 version 2. So tandem style but older than sport. No reclining back seat on mine, but they just use a neck cushion.

I think I'd hold out for the P&T vibe as that's due out any day now and fixed some of the problems with the sport. I haven't seen one in the flesh but apparently it's no longer a fabric foot well over front seat (dc can push foot down through fabric and stop you pushing), also they have adjusted the back seat so when reclined no longer a bare metal bar.

I love my E3 and had no problems with DTs being in it. In fact they fight less in the P&T then they do in the Jane. DT who sits in back doesn't mind lack of view and doesn't tend to kick DT in front which I find the case on a daily basis with my powertwin. I also used my E3 with DS1 and DD1 (19mths age difference) and they seemed to like being in the back as much as in the front.

I'm only using powertwin at the mo as combination of heavy pregnancy and SPD means I can't bend to get one into the back, I keep thinking of getting a side by side just to stop the arguing in the Jane but seems a waste since baby due yesterday and so should be flexible again soon.

I have a E3 and jsut bought a sport although not twins there is a 12mth gap both my dds still sleep in the pram. The recline seat on the sport is great and mine dont fight over who sits where as they are both happy in either seat.
