Hello ladies hope your all well at the first time posting on something like this just really looking for some advice and reassurance. I have two daughters one 3 and another girl who will be 1 this month. I found out I was pregnant in August I no I convinced late because we got pregnant the one time and it was when I wasn't even meant to be ovulating anymore. Anyways so a couple weeks after I found out I went to EPU for a scan because I had spotting and pain on right side of my stomach when I had the scan there was one gestational sac with no fetal pole yet the woman said she think she can see two yolk sacs but she said she wasn't a 100 percent sure so she had me come back in two weeks. We went back Friday just gone and we had another scan at first the woman who was scanning me said everything is fine there is one baby and then after a few minutes she got closer to the screen and was shocked and said there was actually two heartbeats but the babies was lying extremely close together she said was abit concerning so we have to go back again in two weeks to see if there are further apart and see if we can get a better look of at what is going on. I am sooo worried I've never experienced anything like this before I really dont know what to think. I'm gonna attach the scan report if any of u ladies could please give your opinion or any experience from this sort of situation I really would be extremely grateful x

Hi, no experience of this but I hope things will look up in 2 weeks' time. Scans can be worrying with twins - there's always a reason or another. Do keep us posted and fingers crossed everything looks fine next time.
