Start using Mumsnet PremiumDo your twins share bottles?
(5 Posts)Opinions please! I make up 2 separate bottles for my 4 month old twins. Occasionally the girl will leave a couple of ounces and the boy finishes his off and we need to make up a new bottle to give him a bit extra. But could we give him the remainder that the girl left? Or no due to hygiene reasons?
Thanks
I would without a second thought.
I'm quite lax about those kind of things in general though so interested to see what others say.
Share them! No issues. I did have white bottle tops for DD and black for DS but would happily give some of one bottle to the other in the circumstance you’ve mentioned.
What I wouldn’t do is share all bottles as then you wouldn’t really know how much each baby was taking unless you made a mental note in your head (and I’d defo forget that)!
I used to do this all the time, I used to feed them at the same time. They're almost two now and share each other's drinking cups, the just pick up whichever they come to first.
Yep definitely they share food out of each other's mouth now! Lol
