Hi! I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins and starting to show already. It's good but just didn't expect it so soon. Is this normal?

Yes, I'm small build and had a visible bump by two months. We were pretty confident it was twins by three month scan, just from the size of me.
Definitely showed sooner than my single pregnancy.
Congrats! I think 😳

Was for me... you wouldn't believe the size I was at 36 weeks when I delivered them!

I do think my early bump.was more gas than baby but it was still noticeable much sooner then with my single baby pregnancy.

I was very noticeably pregnant from 16 weeks, I looked around 24 weeks at that point.

Congratulations! I was showing at about 16 weeks. It was my first pregnancy.

By about 16 weeks - it was my 3rd pregnancy. 1st pregnancy I didn't show until about 22 weeks, 2nd pregnancy was about 20 weeks. I was less sick with the twins than I had been with the other two and lost a bit less weight so I wonder if it was partly to do with that a partly just the fact that it was my third pregnancy. Also very slim built, but just didn't show early any time and was all bump with all three pregnancies.

I think it is good. You can manage all thing much better because you have time now. If you knew it late, it might be difficult for you to get ready for it. My aunt had twins. She knew about it late. She came to know in 15 week. She hardly managed for them. You have to focus on many things when the baby is not single. You need to focus on your diet. My aunt tried her best but instead of that there left some problems. The twins were not healthy. One baby was weak. It was very difficult time. Prayers for your babied and wish them to be healthy and super active.

I'm really worried. This is my second pregnancy. I am not showing at all. 10 weeks today with twins. I miscarried twins earlier this year at 9 weeks.

Scan on Monday, trying to remain calm.

I'm 5ft 3 with a bit of a tubby tummy. I deffo have a pouch of fat that I developed during my last pregnancy. I do have a retroverted womb too but I'm petrified something's gone wrong.

I do get bloated in evening. But all symptoms seemed to have eased in last week or so.

Any reassurance?

Lime I don't think not showing is necessarily a cause for concern, but could you ring the midwife for some reassurance? I wasn't showing at all at 10 weeks.

I had a visible bump at my 12-week scan. When I had my dcda twins at 37+6 I had a 55" waist and the babies were 7lbs5 and 6lbs4! Good luck! Twins are ace!

I'm currently 15 weeks and have quite a bump, it seems to be getting larger very quickly 😳

This is my fourth pregnancy and I was huge with my singletons so who knows how big I'll get!

DT's were my first pregnancy and I didn't need maternity clothes until 22 weeks. I also had a lot of "are you sure there are 2 in there?" comments, which was annoying. They were 6lb & 4lb 11oz when they were born at 37 weeks, so I think it was just how I carried them.

With my 2nd, a singleton, I was showing by 8 weeks and in maternity clothes by 12 weeks. He was 8lb at 38 weeks and I was bigger with him than the twins.

Congratulations on the twins by the way, they may be hard work, but they are awesome Grin
